The electric chair we have has not been used in over a year. I am trying to charge it. The power light comes on, but the charge light does not. Can you help me? Thank you.

If your chair was only charged once and sat for a year you will no doubt need new batteries

I recently replaced batteries. now am getting power lights fast flashing and chair will not move after several try;s the chair will turn on

Just recheck your wiring. If there's 2 batteries, then starting from one side....positive to scooter, then neg from this battery linked to pos on next battery, then negative to scooter.

My chair will not change speeds. Very slow, No flashing lights

That is possible. Check the power circuit from the battery and see if there is any loose connections or resistance in the circuit via the voltage drop method. Here are some links that may help: Jazzy 1113 ATS Parts Redirect Notice Redirect Notice

Batteries run down within 10 minutes after full

Either the charger is bad or the batteries are too old. If the batteries are allowed to go dead completely the 24 volt charger will not recover. You'll need to seperate the batteroes and use a 12 volt automotive charger to charge the batteries. Make sure the 12volt charger is able to charge gell cell batteries. Not all will.

I have a 1113 Jazzy that I'm trying to sell that

7 year old batteries are too old. They will never charge fully. Replace both batteries at the same time.

Pride jazzy 1113, controller light scroll back and

The voltmeter should read 29 volts when on. You should never replace one battery and leave an old battery in the chair. Replace them both at the same time.

Controller arm has loose wires

That controller is expensive and needs to be reprogrammed after repairs. I'd let a service and repair center do the work. You just can't jump in and fix it yourself without that programmer.

Chair controller flashes 10 bars 9 times and wont move?

I don't have a Jazzy 1113 ... mine is a jet 3 ultra and the controls seem to be identlcal and it too acts similarly particularly if I come to an abrupt stop by hitting an unseen object on the floor or a slightly raised threshold. What I do is turn it off (power button) and after a few seconds turn it back on and find that the chair is ready to go again then I back up to see what that I hit. The chair is very sensitive to approaching a threshold and the correct method is not to do it at an angle but in a direct (not angular) fashion. Hope it helps, Joe

My chair is on fiashes 6 times wont do anything

Hi Randy, I have a jet 3 ultra which looks similar to your jazzy and the indication of six flashes says; 'the power chair is being inhibited by the battery charger.Unplug the battery charger.' I can find no more detail relating to this so whether you wait a while before reconnecting I do not know. A link to the manual for your chair is here for downloading; http://www.google.com.au/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=2&ved=0CCUQFjAB&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.pridemobility.com%2Fpdf%2FOwners_Manuals%2FUS_Jazzy%2FUS_Jazzy_1113_ATS_om.pdf&ei=yHk8VKCABIGD8gX044GYCA&usg=AFQjCNFgl8AbsrG2Kx-HWpnpR_WL35f_kw&sig2=31yJQkWKKHPa4zlWAJtRLg&bvm=bv.77161500,d.dGc Best of luck. Code 3101 Bridge voltage fault what is the fix?

The VSI controller (the unit that contains the joystick) may have gotten wet. If you can take it apart and dry it out it may fix it. That has worked for me. Most times, I wound up replacing the controller. Rebuilds seemed to work fine and were much less expensive.

Install foot rest

If you have the swing on footrests or legrests for a Pride Jazzy series with 2-pins on the hanger brackets please be sure that the hanger brackets are properly installed on the chair with the pin side of the bracket facing to the outside - not inside. To put the footrests on - align the lower pin first with the footrest at a 45 degree angle to the outside of the chair. Then align up the top pin and lower the footrest onto the hanger bracket. Rotate the footrest towards the front and lock the cam lock in place. If the cam lock has a handle that is bent it will interfere with the lock and need to be replaced or bent back in place.

Jazzy 1113 power chair shows charged but control light is blicking. Chair will not move.

It appears that the controls are in Lock Mode. Unlocking Instructions depend on your type of controller. Go to PrideMobility.com to download the proper manuals for chair and controller.
