The number of lights that are blinking indicate what the problem is.

My dad has not used his Jazzy for about 8 months
Most likely the batteries have gone solid while it was sitting unused. The gel in the batteries requires them to be put on a charger at least once a week even if the rider is not using the chair otherwise the batteries will go bad. Replace the batteries and that will most likely solve your problem. If his insurance bought the power chair for him, they may cover the cost of the replacement batteries. The batteries cost $75-$120 otherwise, and you will need two of them.
Good luck!
Banging noises like steel hitting steel when
Make sure that the deck cover fenders is not hitting your drive tires. Check the bearings in your caster wheel assembly to ensure the casters can turn freely. The back outrigger has a pinch bolt in the middle, tighten it all the way then back off 1/2 turn.
If these do not help, you may have damaged the frame, axles or mounting bracket for the motor. This can happen when the rider weighs too much for the power chair or the power chair has been dropped onto the ground.
If you continue to have problems, contact Pride for Tech Support.
Good luck!
Hi my name is Debbie
debbie it might be in sleep mode to restart push the on/off button twice. If that doesn't work try turning the unit on immediately push the joystick full forward and hold till you hear a beep then immediately push the joystick fully back until you hear another beep then release the joystick to the center position. If the chair was in lockout this should release it tun the chair off then back on and it should operate normally. If you still get the error contact your provider for help Hope this helps
How do i replace batteries?i cant find an easy way
Eyeglasses In front of the seat there are the two seat support pipes extending out from under the seat. push in the buttons sticking out of those pipes and lift the front of the seat up. Now you should be able tosee the batteries. If you disconnect the joystick cable from the rear of the chair you can pull forwqrd on the seat and lift it off the frame. You might need some help in getting the seat off. Once you have the seat removed access to the batteries should be a snap. Hope this helps you
On the joy stick all the lights flash but it
This really needs more clearification. What is the nature of the flashes. The flash codes are used for diagnostics. If you know what the flash code is you can generaly find the problem
Slight pull to one side, only in forward. Shop
You need to find a dealer that has a programmer for the power control module, or purchase one yourself. Look at the data on the joystick and it will tell you it's either a P&G controller or a Dynamic Mobility control, Pride uses both. With the programmer you can compensate for one motor outdriving the other so it will track straight. Be sure to test it on a very flat surface, as a crowned roadway will pull the chair in the direction of the curb(downhill).
Jazzy 1113 will not charge,
Most likely your charge isn't charging properly. You need a multimeter to test the voltage at the joystick. In the 3-pin femal connector measure the voltage across the two horizontal terminals. It should read about 24 volts. Now plug it into the charger and see if the voltage increases, if not, charger needs to be replaced. You can get one that plugs into the joystick on ebay a lot cheaper than going to the mfgr. about $50.00 or so. Even if the lights are blinking, it may not be putting out sufficient voltage to bring the batteries up.
My Jazzy 1113 will not
Do you have anybody that can test the efficency of the rechargable batteries, this is the most likely problem.thanks!
Jazzy chair pulls left
Since each drive wheel has it's own motorand both are controlled by the joystick you can narrow it down to the motor opposite the side it is pulling to (probably not the joystick programming if it was working before). However, there may be another answer: if your home has a lot of carpet, or worse a dog, check where the wheel mounts to the drive motor and clear anything that might be wrapped around the wheel axle into the motor, similar to what happens to a vacuum cleaner brush wheel.
Can't get power
If the chair and the batteries sit to long they will not charge. Have the batteries checked with a load tester.
Motor Wiring
Two white wires are for the electric brake. When the wheelchair is turned off while on an incline, the motors automatically lock up, preventing the wheelchair from rolling backwards. The white wires disengage the electric brake when power is applied.
