the best way i found it to use large pair of pliers on each side and turn, almost all nuts on the handle will turn the opposite direction to remove. I have even sprayed PB spray on them to help loosen. This should work for you no problem.

How to stop running water

Replace the "Ball ****" ...it is non-repairable...it is the part that regulates the water level in the toilet tank...also check the "Flapper Valve", if it is worn it will cause the toilet to leak.

I have a toto toilet that doesn't start to refill

Several ideas. Start to fill? Have you looked inside the tank to see what's going on? If it just filling very slowly, then you most likely have some calcuim build up inside your flush valve blocking some flow, if this is the case you will have to clean the flush valve. If your flush valve is staying up and the toilet is "running" unitil the float drops. The float (either the arm ballcock style, or newer fluidmaster) is rubbing on either the flush lever or side of the tank, and taking longer to drop to let the water start flowing. I

Water continue to drip just a little after fill

Check the little tube the goes from the fill valve into the overflow tube. You NEED to have a good arch in the tube to prevent back siphon from the tank. If that doesn't work then check to make sure the flush valve flapper is completely seated without any of its port showing. If you see the slightest amount of the flush port then you need to replace the flapper. AS well as make sure none of the chain is getting siphoned into the port preventing the flush valve flapper from completely seating.

Water continues to drip into overflow tube after fill

This is normal, though not so if it is excessive. Try adjusting the fill valve (there is either a ballcock or a float that surrounds the fill valve). With the ballcock, there is a screw at the top of the fill valve to lower the arm, on the other there is a metal clip to pinch and move the float with a large plastic screw for fine tuning.

Flush

it sounds to me as though its the ballvalve not shutting off properly & when it does shut off the noise you hear is a water hammer, and my guessing is you have a water meter with a back flow prevention valve fitted so when the ballvalve shuts off the pressure exerted on the valve cant go anywhere due to the back flow unit so the noise is the water reverberating through loose pipe-work, annoying but not damaging

Toto washlet SW844 is heating intermittently. The energy saver is not on. I have unplugged it, and re- plugged it to no avail. I've also tried the energy saver on three different settings.

Have you tried resetting or resetting it to factory settings? If this does not work, I would recommend getting in contact with the company to discuss your problem. There customer service team is here to help you if your product is not working correctly.

Toto washlet s300 has developed slow leak from behind brass connection and plastic.

If you are able to identify the source of the leak, you may be able to fix it yourself. If the leak is coming from the brass connection, you may need to replace the connection or tighten it. If the leak is coming from the plastic, you may need to replace the plastic part or use a sealant to stop the leak. If you are unable to identify the source of the leak, it is best to contact a professional plumber to help you diagnose and repair the issue.

The stream on "Rear" is weak on my new Toto Washlet GL since I got it 1 week ago. The "Soft Rear" setting works OK, but the normal Rear wash is no stronger than the "Soft" setting.

It sounds like you may have a problem with the water pressure for the rear wash setting on your Toto Washlet. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Make sure that the water supply hoses for your washlet are securely attached and not kinked or clogged.
  2. Check the water pressure at the source (e.g., the wall outlet or the valve under the sink). If the water pressure is low, that could be the cause of the weak stream.
  3. If the water pressure is fine, try cleaning the nozzle for the rear wash setting. Sometimes debris can accumulate in the nozzle and cause the stream to be weak.
  4. If none of these troubleshooting steps help, you may need to contact Toto customer service for further assistance. They should be able to provide you with additional guidance or arrange for a service technician to come and check your washlet.
