Arrow T25 Staple Gun Questions & Answers
I cannot insert the retainer spring into the
make sure the rod inside the spring is not bent. the slightest bend can cause the retainer or push up loader to act goofy. Also make sure the u shaped(a square U) that makes contact with the staples isn't warped or out of shape. and if staple gun was ever dropped the whole track it slides down could be pinching down too much creating resistance. if so, pry open gently wherever you see that it might be getting tighter. If a visual inspection is not obvious try slowing sliding the spring loader into staple gun's staple track and once resistance is felt start to gently work open with a pair of needle nose pliers, insert closed the use two hands pull pliers open to spread the track apart. . Or any method you find easier that would create the same effect. be inventive and use commonsense always. before u know it you will be MacGyver. LOL Hope this helps, and good luck.
Has staples loaded but does not shoot staple
I think you just answered your own question. I have had one single staple stuck at the "output" where the staple shoot out and it drove me insane for a few until I slowed my roll, took a deep breath and said, I have got to be smarter than a piece of metal here, and took a calm slow looksy. Sure enough, it was one loan staple causing a backup of the rest. I have also had issues with overloading staples which eventually makes the spring pushup rod become less forceful as it pushes the staples up for firing. Not an issue until you get towards the last dozen staples or so, which can also lead to the last staple not quite getting that millimeter push ahead, to shoot out correctly. These staple guns are like babies. Have to treat them nice and pamper them and heaven forbid you ever drop that stapler cause if dropped more than likely it will never quite be the same again. Arrow T-50 stapler
Take out the screw/nut combo @ the end of the gun where you load the staples. The whole rail that holds the staples will then come out and you can then get the little devils of the nested, jammed, rousted up staples out by sliding them out with a screwdriver. Don't jam the screwdriver into your fingers/hand when doing it.
How do i load the gun with staples
There is a clip at the lower rear of the stapler--lift this clip upwards which releases the staple tension device which is the clip, a rod, a long spring, and a 'U' shaped clip on the far end. Pull this device all the way out, insert one length of staples into the slot that is revealed, then reinsert the tension device until the small clip re-locks at the rear of the stapler frame. One staple ejects per squeeze of the firing lever--hold the nose of the stapler firmly to the material to allow penetration of the staple. Hope this helps!
