Weiser Lock ED1460X3VKD Powerbolt 1000 Electronic Deadbolt Questions & Answers
The T-turn is reversed
I my mind the actual lock bolt was assembled wrong. You need to gently twist the length adjusting unit /bolt directly out of its housing and then gentle separate the two pieces though fully separating them and then "flip" the actual little toggling metal piece that has the "U shaped and half circle looking hub that the lock shaft slides into, around from it currently position ... ie. reversing its throw. You may need to also adjust the spring metal piece underneath it as it run in a slot as well.
This worked for me ... when t-turn key is horizontal the dead bolt is extended ie. in locked position.
The deadbolt will not retract. even when new

On my house door lock, I recharged my batterie and now the lock wont work
When it comes to rechargeable batteries there is an unspoken rule to not use them for smoke detectors, clocks, and menial electronics. Only use them for flashlights and stereo systems that you carry on your shoulder. :) All you can do is make sure that the batteries are touching all the terminals and that they are facing the right way.
