20 Most Recent LG LRSC21935TT 36" Cabinet Depth Side-by-Side Refrigerator w/ 21 Cu. Ft. Capacity, Tall Bottle Dispe... Questions & Answers

Your water filter, if you have one installed, is located in the light housing of the top shelf. It is easiest to take your food off of the top shelf and remove the shelf to get easy access to it. I normally place a towel under it to catch any drips. If you do not see the canister hanging down then the bypass is likely installed. This is not a filter and can be used if no filter is desired. The "change filter" light will go off after a certain amount of time, or usage regardless if the filter,or bypass is installed.

Problem with the circulation fan. Sometimes they move on the spindle and hit the surround. With the door open, press the door switch and trace where the noise is coming from?

Usually, the beeping will mean that the fridge thinks the door is open. You did not give a model # so I do not know if it is a side x side, top freezer or bottom freezer.

The evaporator fan is wired through the light switch so if the door is open, or there is a problem with the switch, then the fan will not circulate air and typically things will start to freeze toward the bottom but be warmer at the top.

The first thing I would check is to make sure that the top door hinge covers are securely in place and that the switches close when the door does. Sometimes it is a mechanical switch while others use a magnet. Look for something like this on the top of the fridge just on top of the hinge. Post more details if more assistance is needed.

It usually costs more in labor and parts to repair an ice maker.
I suggest swap it out with a new one.

Since you did not make a complete thaw in the freezer?
Do this and then cleanly, let it dry inside, then turn it on, cause it can be an ice plug in the freezer coils

My best idea...

Try the compressor start CAPACITOR...

which is usually pretty INEXPENSIVE...

You are likely looking at a CONTROL BOARD or a REPLACEMENT compressor which is expensive and really expensive (respectively).

Let's hope not
