When my flymo lite 250 engine is running the end does not turn to cut the grass

Could be anything from a stripped drive shaft to a loose or stripped trimmer head. You'll probably need to take it to a repair shop to have them diagnose the problem and locate the replacement parts if it's anything other than a stripped trimmer head bolt.

My starter pulley for my "homelite mighty lite

This is a labor intensive procedure to just get to the recoil/starter unit so it can be inspected for the problem. Here is how you get there.Remove the tube that holds the flex-drive shaft from the front of the motor cover.Remove the rear engine cover. Remove the throttle cable from the carburetor. Mark and unplug any wires for the on/off switch that go to the ignition coil (underneath front cover) if possible. Now if you have pulled the driveshaft tube out of the way, the clutch drum is up next. Inside it, screwed into the very end of the engine's crankshaft is a Torx #20 screw. Before you loosen it, you will have to lock up the engine. To do so, remove the spark plug. Pull on the starter until the piston is down, then insert a length of clean, soft rope into the engine. The engine will come up and compress the rope, thus locking it in place to allow clutch drum and clutch removal. Loosen the T-20 (Star bit or Torx head) screw inside the drum.. You may be able to remove it with a long thin-blade screwdriver also.It probably won't come completely out...it is made this way. Next, remove the clutch. It is screwed onto a small threaded section of the crankshaft Removal is counterclockwise.. It will be pretty tight. To help, apply peneterating oil. Whack the ears of the clutch near the center with a hammer and a dull flat-blade chisel or a small piece of wood unless there are bolts. then use a wrench. It will turn counterclockwise for removal and there will probably be a removal direction arrow on it's face. After getting that off, remove the Torx screws holding the cover to the engine. The starter unit should be mounted inside as it mates with the top of the flywheel to start the motor. Remember to preload tension (5-7 turns) on the starter unit. Make sure the handle is installed. Jam the unit with a screwdriver or vise grips so you can insert and tie off the new rope. Then remove jam device and let recoil pull your new rope into place while holding the handle. Reassemble and you are done. Disassembly requires Torx head drivers and a good flat-blade screwdriver. Post back if needed. Input your model number here to find a pulley. I will give you a couple of places to check. http://www.ereplacementparts.com/homelite-trimmer-parts-c-18807_20299.html http://www.outdoordistributors.com/Homelite/Homelite_Main.html

I have a mighty lite

You can get a rebuild kit from PartsBuggy.com. Just go to their cross-referencing page and enter the model # from your carburetor (it should be stamped into the body of the carburetor), NOT the trimmer model #, and you'll be given all the available kits for it.

Where and how do I get a new coil for the Homelite

PartsBuggy.com has lots of replacement Homelite parts, but it's really going to depend on the model you have. You can go to Homelite's website at www.homelite.com and look up the Homelite part # for the part and then use that at PartsBuggy's cross-referencing page to find out if they stock it or not.

How do i remove the primer bulb on my homelite

The primer bulb should be attached directly to the carburetor. There will be a plate with 4 screws, once on each corner, which you will have to remove to get the primer bulb off of the carburetor. You can find replacement primer bulbs at PartsBuggy.com.

Hi I need a priming bulb now I know where it goes

There are 2 types: on top of carb type, and, remote with 2 nipples type. Both are really inexpensive. Many online vendors like partstree.com, outdoor distributors etc. have them. You will pay MORE for the 7.95 shipping charge than the bulb costs. I use Ebay to find many parts at low, low prices and many sellers ship FREE. IF you don't go to a small engine shop for your parts, then Ebay is your next best bet. If you order online, minimum shipping charges will kill you.Become a member of Ebay ....you will be very glad you did!
