The pushbutton is electrically isolated from the actual on/off switch for obvious safety reasons. The mechanical coupling mechanism could be broken as could be the switch itself. It is not intended to be repaired by the homeowner but you could try if you are handy. Before investigating, turn offo the circuit breaker to the pump. Likely that is how you had to turn it off anyway. If this is beyond you, call a plumber. Unfortunately, there are very few options.

oops.. lol.. dry the spa out with a fan, and at night, fill it up again and with a real good flashlight snoop around for the wet spot, allot of the time it will be at the motor, look for white or light brown streaks, the pump(s) will need shaft seals replaced. could be cheap OR expensive depending on damage to the pump/motor.here is what I recommend you do if you find it the pump that's leaking SEARCH your area for your local pool pump motor repair guy with free motor testing, and have him do the shaft seal repair. but if the shafts on the motor looks like new (no rust) you can attempt the repair yourself. best of luck with you used spa .. Most pool pump motors use 6203 2RS. There are two in each motor. If you haven't done this before I wouldn't attempt it. Once the motors get to a certain age you cannot get the 4 thru bolts out to disassemble the motor. Plus you need a bearing puller. I suggest buying a replacement motor for under $200.00

sounds like the recirculation pump isnt working FL1 means no Flow pump 1

some tubs have a powered blower (you can hear it) or some tubs have a venturi suction bubbler system, you will have have to pop open service cover to look to see what kind you have, venturi type most of the time are turned off or down to far and don't produce bubbles (twist knobs) powered blowers sometimes have hoses pop off there fittings

this indicates a "mechanical seal failure" this will require replacement of said seal or entire pump

well fiberglass is a thing that can be repaired , if your looking for a quicky way then a hardware store that sells Boat repair (gel coat) kits is the way to go, if a more perminate repair is needed there are folks in yellow pages that use a heat process that lasts a bit longer , or entire shell can be sourced from jacuzzi as well this would have to be installed by a pro though to get it done right

if level of water inside goes down then it's a leak or heavy use!!! but if not it's just condesation this is very normal in cold climates (they sweat) thats why cedar and redwood are used most for extetiors

most breaker trips are from water leaks (inside/out and outside/in) and bad heaters in hot tubs i have found

if breaker is tripped your gonnahave to look inside the covering to see if you have a water leak, if not it's probally your heater, they do go bad, faster if your not dilagent on your water chemistry to be perfect

wow if it got that cold there id be winterizing with food grade antifreeze not just drainig it down, you could miss pockets of water here and there and produce a crack in housing someplace , as for trouble shooting a no flow situation try the ole standby method of methodical subsitution it's worked for 100 years , keep removing parts (start at suction line in pool) temporray out of system till flow starts then you know last part sub'd out was it!!!

the pump or the motor is hot? if it's the motor then your problem is excessive load (ie. pumpshaft tight,too high a flow,forign object in pump head) if it's the pump head then your heater is set too high or failed on constant or pump impeller is rubbing housing

you might not be able to replace the switch parts might not be available jacuzzi is out of business you might be able to replace the motor if not get a new pump they can cross reference for you

soak in solution of 4 parts water to 1 part muriatic acid

Try filling through the filter, it sounds like you have no prime.

make sure the heating element isnt touching the casing inside the heating tube. if its an indoor tub, make sure the filtration cycles are not set to constant. constant filter cycles on an indoor tub will generate residual heat from the circ pump running 24/7, causing tub to heat past 104 degrees
