Look in the back of the carseat and you should see where you can adjust the straps and then pull the length trough the front of the carseat. I don't have an evenflo, but sometimes there's a clip you can move forward to make the straps longer.

Hello!

What a great seat!

A few things to check: Make sure the seat was never in an accident before. Also, please ensure the seat is not expired, they are good for 6 years from the date of manufacture, which is listed on a sticker on your seat.

This site:

has the manual. I would recommend talking to the local police or fire department and having a certified seat person to install the seat and show you how to do it the 1st time. This will ensure the best installation possible.

Thank you!

There is a trick to this. All the straps are kinda connected together. The main harness is one piece, a clever clip on each of the lap section. (one on each side) needs to be removed to allow the belt to slide through the seat and cover openings. Once here the strap needs to go through the actual seatbelt buckle. Once the buckles are off you can pull the harness through the shoulder opening. The note to take here is that the harness runs through a loop on the adjuster belt (a narrower belt that runs from the back of the chair under the it to and through the adjusting fastener) Once through the loop you can pull the main harness strap free from the chair. Now the next part, depress the release clip of the adjuster and with the other hand pull this belt free from adjuster. It may require a bit of two handed work as belt nears the end. You should now have a wide belt, a narrow belt, 2x clips and 2x harness buckles. All you need to do now is remove the adjuster which usually requires the manipulation of a metal 'B' buckle which is sewn into the loop to be twisted sideways to allow it to pass through the opening. You are home free now. The cover should be elasticated around the edging and easily removed for washing.(you can also put the straps in too) Now is also a good time to just give the actual seat a good clean too. Refitting is reversal of removal. However REMEMBER and NOTE the way clips, buckles and which openings the straps went through when removing. There are usually a couple. Mark the items with a marker if you think you'll forget. On refitting you might want to put it to the next one up. (as a child grows ie. the shoulder straps should be above the shoulders when the child is seated, equally important is they must be the same on both sides.) I think there might be a couple of slots for the adjuster strap. You might want to move that one out too. Have your child seated in the chair before you start the reassembly and mark out the openings the staps need to pass through which would be most comfortable for the him/her. Good Luck.

Hello, Lenda -

The Evenflo company web site does offer instruction manuals for many Evenflo products:
https://www.evenflo.com/support/instruction-manuals.html

There is a section on that web page, with the heading Playards & Portable Beds. Perhaps one of the model names listed there is the model name for your Pack and Playard.

If not, then I suggest you contact Evenflo Customer Service and ask for assistance regarding the locked side rail. This is the link to the Evenflo Contact Us web page:
https://www.evenflo.com/contactus

If you reside in the USA or Canada, you will find a telephone number to call. Otherwise, you can fill out the form on that page to send as an email message.

Best wishes.

In the market for a range hood and been doing some shopping around. Holy smokes?¯?¿?½.. I thought shopping for a new range was difficult, but shopping for a hood makes shopping for a range seem like a walk in the park.
For the life of me I can't figure out, after the whole world seems to have moved to fluorescent or LED bulbs, that the hood industry is still using the extremely inefficient power sucking halogen bulbs.
What?¯?¿?½s worst is that many of the range manufactures warn against changing out the halogen for a more efficient bulb with the fear causing damage.
Is there a reason that I am missing? I have been looking at vent-a-hood and Broan among others.
