The DW733 has 2 blades which can be sharpened. However, to replace the blades:

1. Remove handle
2. Remove cover
3. Remove screws that hold binder to the blade.
4. Lift out blade, be careful not to cut yourself, extremely sharp
5. Replace in reverse order

if you give me the model number I will find a replacement cord for you. The way I remove this cord is a pair of pliers and you have to "pull" the cord out of the roller if it is stuck there. Let me know how I can help

Disconnect the planer's power cord, then use the T-wrench that comes with the planer to remove the four screws that secure the top of the planer. Lift the top to remove it from the planer.
Remove the three wing nuts holding the dust cover over the cutter head. Rotate the dust cover up to unlock it from the fan housing, then push the cover to the left to disconnect it. Remove the dust cover from the planer to expose the cutter head.
Rotate the cutter head with a piece of scrap wood until the lock on the side of the cutter head engages. All eight screws in the cutter head clamp should now be visible. Remove the screws using the T-wrench, then turn the T-wrench upside down and use the magnet in the head of the T-wrench to grab the clamp. Remove the clamp to expose the knife underneath. Use the magnet to remove the knife.
Rotate the cutter head with a piece of scrap wood until the lock on the side of the cutter head engages. All eight screws in the cutter head clamp should now be visible. Remove the screws using the T-wrench, then turn the T-wrench upside down and use the magnet in the head of the T-wrench to grab the clamp. Remove the clamp to expose the knife underneath. Hello Ken,
The black marks you are seeing are most likely from the rollers that feed the material threw the planner. The marks are left on the board when the board stops but the feed rollers are still spinning.This occurs when the feed table is stickey with items such as pitch. I would clean off the table completly and wax it ( or some type of lube).
Another cause could be the matrial that you are using, if the stock is real rough it will not slide as easy as a smooth board.

P.S. after waxing or lubing the table run a scrap piece first to wipe off any excess.

It depends on what kind of sander it is. If its a belt sander then on the side there is a lever that comes outward. it releases the tension then slip the old one off and new on and push lever back in place. If its a palm sander then on each side of the pad there will be 2 silver rods there. you push the rod in and then pull up and it releases a bar that wil go up and down for you to put the new paper on with.

Couple of things to check:
1. Are your knives sharp? Dull knives will cut not fast enough to keep up with the rollers.
2. What is the depth of cut? Dewalt's planers cannot plane a board to excessive depths.
3. Are you rollers clean? Dirt, pitch or possibly grease could affect your feed rate.
4. The belt/chain for your rollers engaged or are they slipping? Open up the planer and check for wear or possibly broken belt/chain.
Snipe is usally caused by improper support while exiting the planer. Use outfeed rollers set to the correct height. Also chek that you outfeed bed is aligned with the bed of the planer.

I would think feed rollers, but if you say they are in good shape then I would look for proper adjustment of the blades

If you're using a hook and loop sanding pad (velcro), most likely the hooks have worn out and the pad needs to be replaced. They are available from this website, if you can't find them locally.

OK you need to go to Dewaltservicenet.com and in the middle of the page at the bottom type in your model number it will take you to another page and then find your type number and click on the instruction manual section on the right side, I clicked on type 2. You are going to have to pull the side cover off this thing to get to the roller. I think it is spring loaded and stuck. Could be a chunk of wood up in there. Bubinga isn't exactly spruce. The stuff is like a rock. Does it only snipe as it exits the planer? Or the whole way? I'm surprised the front roller doesn't hold. Take off the one side that is stuck, look for a big sliver or chunk wedged up in there and spray some wd 40on it to try and loosen up the spring tension. If not, just look to see what kind of adj if any is there. The planers come apart fairly easy and are easily maintained. Check it out, hope this helps.

Part number for the driver by itself is 623243-00 and is available from dewalt or www.toolpartsdirect.com. The driver kit is no longer available and the gun has been discontinued. Driver kit contained other parts including gasket, lube and likely the lower bumper. Good luck

I would wonder if it isn't the batteries? Often this type of problem is simply them.
If after you replaced the batteries with "Known Good" ones, and it still faults, then it;s either a sticking drive actuator, or the Electronics driving the striker has failed...
The ONLY people who can or are able to service this are Dewalt, please contact a local or head office, and ask for a referral to a local service agency.
Of course, always ask for a "Quote" before proceeding with any repair.

Do you have the blade set gauge that came with the planer? It is a little metal thing that looks like a bottle opener with 3 feet on it? Anyway, you need one, you can buy one at the Dewalt web site or where you got the planer. What it does is set the knives all to the same depth, every time, you can't miss. It rides on the drum, with the blades on the leveling screws, and a wrench in one of them, the jib in place, just snug, not tight, you lift each end of the knife up to just touch the gauge, then snug it up, move to the other end, and do the same thing, then to the middle, then back to make sure it is still on it's mark, If it comes up too far, and grabs the gauge, knock it down with a piece of wood, then move to the next knife, get them set all the same, then torque the jib screws up real tight. Give it a try. Hope this helps.
