Makita 6349DWDE 18V 1/2" MXT Driver - Drill Kit Questions & Answers
Clutch slipping on cordless drill. need spare parts to repair.
Are you sure you do not have a tourque adjustment problem. If not I do not believe Makita will want to send you parts, you would have to know what is precisely wrong and by the time you went back and forth you might as well find nearest dealer for repairs and google search Makita.com for service parts near you + zip code to get your drill fixed.

The chuck wont open or close properly the three
Hi, the simplest and best solution is to replace the whole chuck.
This is a cheap and easy thing to do and suitable 13mm chucks are available online from lots of different manufacturers and are nearly all compatible.
here is link to a genuine Makita replacement chuck , but there are plenty of cheaper brands to choose from.

Makita 8444d second and third gears sound noisy
I had the same problem on my 8444, it was out of warranty (just over 2 years old) so I stripped it and found the plastic gear selector ring worn out. Was livid at this as these drills are marketed on the strength of the "all metal" MXT gearbox! Makita UK, to their credit, sent me a replacement gearbox free of charge when I pointed this out to them.
A year on and the replacement gearbox has now started doing the same in 3rd (high) gear. Doubt I can get another free 'box out of Makita (they would probably say I fitted it incorrectly) so am looking at buying just the drill body, which comes out at around £60 and will work with my existing batteries. Just not sure if I would trust the replacement not to fail, but a similarly powerful drill with 2 batteries would cost me wel over £200.
How to replace keyless chuck
go to either the tip section or refer to my profile and you will find detailed instructions on how to remove the chuck. Let me know if you have any problem finding them.
Keyless chuck is stuck with bit inside
Try two channel lock pliers.
Hold the bit close the the base with one.
Take the other (cloth comes in handy here to prevent marring) and turn the chuck counter clockwise to release.
Alternative (little WD40 on the chuck)
One channel lock plier hold the chuck and put the drill in reverse.
The WD40 should allow the chuck to release easier.
Good luck!
14.4 MXT grinding under pressure
there is a collar inside the clutch assemble that probably has the top of the teeth worn off. Unless you find a service center that has saved some good ones you probably will have to replace the whole clutch assembly.
Makita 6349DWDE 18V Cordless Clutch
could be the clutch needs replaced, but I would check to make sure the high/low switch is fully engaged. Inside the clutch there is ring gear that could have the teeth rounded off I would go to Makitatools.com and type in your model number for a breakdown so you can see what you are getting into, they are not that hard if you are mechanically inclined and just watch how you do it.
Electric Makita HP2051 chuck won't close
I don't really know how a chuck works. I use them often on a drill press, cordless drills, etc. My grandfather always said to "check the simple things first." Could something have gotten in the way like saw dust, dirt.....? ? I might suggest trying using compressed air and blow it out? You can buy a can of compressed air at office depot.
