My new Husqvarna 2348 lawn

Hi billyclapp,

If I may ask have tried checking the connection from the battery power, if it does not have any batteries then check connections related to power that can be lose or either needs replacing or maybe connected but is having issue since this is brand new then I guess it is either you have it repaired again or you have it replaced since it still has not changed after the repairs.

That is what most Manufacturers call a DOA or a Damaged on Arrival.

But if the machine has been with you for more that the return policy then there really isn't anything you can do but to have it repaired again till the issue is gone and fixed.

Bad Gas can cause that yes but if it was drained and the gas was replaced then there should be a big difference, since it is still the same then most likely they did not do a good job fixing your machine.

Again check for any lose connections on the machine that can be causing the power to go down, maybe a faulty wiring to the machine or something.

What plugs did they replace for the dirty GAS?

First thing is to check the new belt length against the old belt. Should be close, maybe old belt just a little longer. Then when you were trying to put the belt on did you set the brake like parking, that should take the tension off of it for you.

I hope this helps you out.

I have a Husqvarna tractor

Hi spcsnuffy,

Since you replaced the drive belt and idler pulley, the next thing to check would be the air and fuel flow. I would do a routine maintenance on the machine and adjust the carb. Be sure the correct air and fuel filters recommended for your machine are installed.
If this does not help, you could have a problem with the governor/throttle settings. The problem also could be wear in the engine.

Good luck to you.

Hope this helps. If it does, I'd appreciate your vote. Keeps me working here. :>)
Thanks,
Handie Andie

Go to Partstree.com.
Search for Husqvarna, use your model number.
Have your serial number ready.
The part is called "anti-sway rod" and costs about $14.
You may need a clip or end connector, too.

It wont start it just

if it is making a clicking noise then it is getting power to the starter. that is good. saves a lot of time. make sure the battery if fully charged. the wires on the battery terminals and the solenoid are know to get corrosion on the. be sure to take apart and clean with sandpaper to get a good connection. if it still does the same thing. the starter may be bad, or the valves may need adjusted. you will find videos on you tube that show how to do this. i hope this gives you an idea of how to get it going. good luck

Motion drive belt shredded. what

It is normally threaded, which is to say it has right hand threads. So you will need to turn left to loosen. You can take a block of wood to brace the blade or use vice grip pliers to block the blade. The blade needs to be immobilized to loosen the bolt.

If this is really helpful for you, please rate four thumbs up.

pull the mandrel off and take it to a small engine repair shop. there are just 2 or 3 sizes and they will have one sitting on the shelf. those mowers are made by the same company which makes most all the rest of them, AYP or MTD. small engine and mower repair shops can be found in the yellow pages.

Husqavarna 2348 after starting engine dies when

Your tractor has several safety switches. Look around your brake pedal and linkages. You will see a little plastic switch has 2 wires going to it unplug and put the 2 wires together if it runs switch is bad. You can replace the switch or just cut the wires and wire nut them together.-------------Its faulty safety switches/.The clutch safety switch will kill the engine when the clutch/brake pedal is released. The deck switch will kill the engine when the blades are engaged. The seat switch will allow the engine to run when the rider isn't present instead of killing the engine when the rider isn't present. They don't usually give you any warning they just quit. You can check the safety switches if you make a jumper wire to use to complete the circuit. This will help determine which switches are bad.---------- Most probably clutch safety switch is faulty in your case. But check all the switch one by one with a jumper wire. But if clutch switch checked ok, then most likely it is the seat switch not working properly. when the brake is on, the seat switch is ignored, let it off and it has to see you in the seat or it dies.------------ This will help.Thanks.Helpmech.

Will not move forward or

either the drive belt which connects the crank shaft pulley to the top of the transmission pulley has failed, or the hydrostatic transmission has failed. the first is easy to spot, a broken belt, and fix; the second problem basically means you will spend more to buy a new transmission than another mower will cost.

Help! My Husqvarna YTH 2046

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly. I am looking for your service manual but beed to know if your mower has a number on in ending in 3300, 3301, 3302, 3303 or 3304. An example of the number I need would be like this: 96043003300 The 3300 series numbers above are just the first 5 of 10 models.

There are 10 different service manuals for this mower and my best guess is the model number is something like this: YTH20K46

I think you have a blown 30 Amp fuse but need to find the location in the manual so I can pass that to you.

There is the possibility that the engine alternator has also failed also but, you said the LED was blank and the mower does nothing so that in itself points to a fuse / wiring issue.

From what I can tell the fuse is a flat bayonet type fuse and should be located on the left side of the mower about 6 inches in front of the mower deck looking from the top. I just can not tell what elevation the fuse is at. This fuse is in the circuit between the battery and the Amp meter. A second look for the fuse and it appears to be in the exact area even with the left foot pedal. Look in that area vertically for the fuse.

Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kely

I use synthetic oil in

Hi, synthetic oil is not recommended in your lawn tractor. The reason for this is its basically too good for the load and conditions your mower engine operates under. Using synthetic oil would lead to your engine glazing the bore and consuming excessive oil. Regards Phil.

It will only run while

" It will only run while I have starter fluid in it "---- This indicates problem with fuel pump and clogged fuel filter.------- The fuel filter is already replaced, so fuel pump has to be replaced.-------- The flow of fuel is low, due to this required fuel is not reaching the engine so it will not run, but when you spray starter fluid, the fluid runs the engine and it runs.----------- And for fuse blowing problem,--- You have a dead short in the circuit for that fuse. Check for a pinched wire, or a wire rubbed through a touching metal.Any time a fuse blows there is a direct short to ground. Fuses only work in a hot wire. Some where there is a wire hot wire with a bare spot touching the frame or another ground wire. The seat could have a wire pinched, the motor may have melted a wire or something simple like that. Move all the wire around and see if they may be pinched or touching another wire or it any are melted together.Try unplugging the pto, starting the mower and then engaging the blades. If it still blows a fuse the problem lies in the mowers wiring. If not the problem is the pto.-------- This will help.Thanks.Helpmech.
