I need a diagram to

This is my advice if you dont already have a regulator. Go to menards or lowes andlook for a regulator kit. They usually come with everything you will need to put a good one on your compressor. Instructions will come with it along with the threaded pipe to hook it up with. I myself just got a pressure regulator kit from Theisenes.I started by removing my air hose from the tank, next youll need to attach the regulator to the tank where you removed the hose, your kit should have prethreadedmetal air pipe to go from the tank to the regulator (use thread tape or joint sealer to prevent leaks ) Now use your sealer to seal airhose to the other end of the regulator the airoutlet side. Turn it on abd check for leaks and see if you can set your pressure regulator to a set pressure If it holds without leaking you did a great job GOOD LUCK!!!!! SignedTaz

Have A Century 3 Hp

If you can remove the back cover of the motor, you should be able to see the capacitor. Do not touch any terminals, even with the power off, the capacitor holds voltage. You would have to locate it to replace it anyway. I had a bad capacitor on a pump last week and found one on the internet for $7 plus shipping. It is only a start capacitor, once the motor starts, the switch changes and runs on different windings.

Let me know if you need any additional information.

With pressure in the tank,

make sure the bleeder unload the pressure when the compressor stops.if not it will be too hard for the motor to start ,it will drive too much amps and trip the breaker.just after its stops you can also unscrew the air line to see if it still under pressure(it will be a 1/4 nylon or copper line)if the air is comming out STEADY from this line replace you check valve.hope this will help.

Hello...I have a blackmax 60

Compressor oil is less demanding then cars, but car oil works fine. Normal 1W-40 would probably work the best.
You would hardly ever have to change it either, because there is no water, soot, or acids produced in a compressor, as there are with a car.

I AM SETTING MY AIR COMPRESSOR FROM 240 VOLT TO

You have to change the wires in the motor according to the wiring diagram on the motor before you can convert the motor to 120 Volt.

The standard colors you should use would be black and white for line and load and green for ground. If you just have a copper wire and it is not coated with a green coating then you will use the standard copper wire for ground.

Should I lay the compressor on its side?

I would advise you drain the crankcase of oil before you do that.
