I bought a Kambrook Muscle Analysing Scale model EF912 but do not have the manual

After some looking around for this product - it seems to be the same as a TM-EF912 which is made by a Polich company Tech-Med. They do have a site and it does have a manual - only it is in Polish. So just in case you can read Polish or know someone who can - here is the manual link. Sorry I could not find anything else - seems that this unit is made and then badged as to whatever name someone wants to put onto it (such as Kambrook) http://techmed.pl/temp/fckeditor/image/duze/WAGA%20TM-EF912/instrukcja_TM-EF912_A6.pdf

I have just bought a Tesco OneBody pedometer and

The instructions are totally useless: however, I think I've worked it out.
1. Start by setting the time: press the mode button and cycle through until you reach the time display. Press and hold the Set button until the time flashes. Press the adjust button to add one hour. Press set again to get the minutes to flash. Press the adjust button to add a minute. When the correct time has been set press Set.
2. Press the mode button to cycle through to Steps count (this will be a single number, probably fairly low if you've never tried to use it before). Press and hold the set button until the display changes and flashes for KG and CM. Press the adjust button (ADJ) to add a KG until you reach your correct weight. Now press the set button and the CM will flash. This is the measurement of your standard step, not how tall you are. Measure your step (the one you will take when either jogging or walking depending on what you want to use the pedometer for). This measure is from your back foot toe- to your front foot heel. Now add this number into the CM column by pressing the ADJ button once to add a centimetre. Press set again when you have added the correct number.
3. Finally you need to reset the pedometer: go into KCAL mode and press and hold the ADJ button: this will reset the steps, KM and KCAL counts to zero: Hey presto you are ready to go.
Hope that helps :-)

This website has the instruction manual for the Omron pedometer. It may not be the exact same model as yours but it will still help. I just changed my batteries and have a different model which has the reset button on the back. Still, the basic stuff is there and I was able to re enter all info. Hope this helped.

Can I fix the display on my Omron HEM-780 so that I can >>>>make out the readings? Thanks.

I suspect there is dirt or moisture build up in the Zebra connecor that connects the LCD to the board. this is Zebra connector. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/57/Zebra_connector.jpg Its usually fixable by cleaning and/or reseating the connector and putting it all back together.

I replaced the batteries of my Omron Karada Scale BF511 and it's been showing Err. When I step on it, the scale reads up to a 110kg (and I weigh 76kg) before reading Error. Please help.

Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue: 1. Make sure the scale is on a flat, stable surface: Uneven or unstable surfaces can affect the accuracy of the readings. Place the scale on a hard, level floor and ensure it is not wobbling. 2. Check the battery installation: Double-check that the new batteries are inserted correctly, following the polarity markings inside the battery compartment. Ensure there is good contact between the batteries and the terminals. 3. Calibrate the scale: Some digital scales require calibration after battery replacement or when experiencing issues. Check the user manual for instructions on how to calibrate your specific model. Calibration usually involves placing a known weight on the scale and adjusting it accordingly. 4. Clean the scale: Dirt, dust, or debris on the scale's surface or sensors can interfere with accurate readings. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to clean the scale, ensuring it is dry before use. 5. Try weighing yourself multiple times: Step on and off the scale a few times to see if the error persists. This can help determine if the issue is consistent or intermittent.
