Bad connections on the battery posts is most likely. If the circuit breaker was bad you'd get nothing at the battery . The charger voltage is 29 volts when not connected to the batteries. 26 or more when connected and on.
I compare it to a gas motor with a miss.
Could be your carbon brushes. Really easy job to check. The brushes are located inside the motor housing and are covered by 2 or 4 black caps depending on your scooter model. You simply undo the caps and remove the Brush. Check that there is plenty of carbon material left and that the spring and contact are in good condition and that the Brush slides freely through the housing. Sometimes a sticking brush or bad contact can cause power fluctuations..... Let me know how you get on.
The motor on our brand
Trent I had this with another scooter and it turned out to be a cut or piece missing from one of the tires. Check all the tires carefully for any little defect or gouge. If you find something fishy take a piece of tape and cove the defect and the drive the scooter and see if you still hear the ticking sound. If that doesn't help block the rear of the scooter off the floor and have your wife run it slowly carefully listen to both rear tires to see if you can find the one making noise. If you can't hear the noise block up the front tires spin them to listen for the sound you are hearing. Hope this helps and let me know what you find Good Luck
I cannot ope the battery compartment
The battery boxes are removed from the scooter by lifting the handle and pulling straight up on the box. You may have to tug or wiggle it to get it free.
Turn the battery box over and look for 7 recesses in the bottom of the box where the 7 phillips head screws are located. Remove the 7 screws and the box will come open. A long handle #1 phillips or long handle #2 phillips screwdriver should work.
Turn the box over right side up before removing the top cover. The battery connections are red to positive (+), black to negative (-). Hope this helps.
First, my scooter batteries have been tested they
I would suspect the batteries were not tested properly. The best test to determine if batteries are good is with a load tester. If your batteries load test good then the charger may be suspect and it can be tested with a digital voltmeter. What you are describing is weak batteries not holding a charge. I would replace weak batteries and test your charger.
If you purchased this floor sample the batteries may have been sitting around too long and have become sulfated, coating the battery plates so they don't work properly. Have the dealer replace them under warranty and test the charger, making sure it is the correct charger and correct amperage for this scooter. Hope this helps.
I have a pride celebrity
Hello dvaldez. The problem is not with the scooter but the battery. When a battery no longer takes a full charge you generally have to replace it. Any auto parts store will test that battery for you to see if it is indeed the problem. This is a free service. Joe
Thanks for choosing Fixya!
The scooter is not taking the charge, the
hi, first check the charger, can you try another charger ?
if you're convince the charger is charging ok then it points to the batteries being tired and need replacing but first check the connections to make sure there is not a loose connection.

GeWiz,
Pride Zero Turn 10 - 4 beep code randomly while driving.
It is called the "current limit time out." Apparently the battery needs to recuperate or adjust its charge across the cells. That is another question. What it needs is a few minutes to be turned off. I know this from seeing the manual.

Where is the fuse on my Jazzy pride mobility scooter
the fuse box location may vary depending on the model of the scooter. However, it is usually located under the seat of the Jazzy scooter. You can access it by unscrewing the two bolts that hold the seat in place. Once you remove the seat, you should see a black box with a white label that says "FUSE". The fuse is located inside this box.
