Behringer DJx700 5-Channel Pro DJ Mixer with Digital Effects & Bpm Counter Questions & Answers
Djx 750 - no power - transformer dead?
Actually, you may be in luck. A burned cap means that it has done exactly what it's supposed to do. So...you might stick an identical one in there -- it's a 0.1 uF cap, and you can find these at Radio Shack (0.1 uF 50V) or online. They are cheap, so give it a shot.
Behringuer pmp 5000 turns off
Can you elaborate a bit more about what you mean by "turning off?" What are you doing up until that point? Does it do it at certain times, etc.?
Behringer djx700 has no bass
Check that all the eqs are set not to cut bass, check there are no effects on and that the XPQ is off. If you still have the problem how sure are you there is no bass coming from the mixer? Have you tried it with another amp? We had one hire customer who had the same problem you describe and his amp had a crossover and it was set to act as a mid/top amp and wasn't giving him any bass, unsurprisingly, switching it back to full range sorted it.
Im not getting anything from my djx700 master output, getting sound from booth output. what could this be
The first thing I would look at is the kill switches on each side, make sure these are not pressed. Also make sure the master fader is up. I would disconnect anything that may be plugged into the effects loop send and return. Make sure the main outs are plugged in correctly, the main master outs should go to a power amp, this unit appears to be a unpowered unit. Make sure you are using the proper cables to avoid damage, lookup and understand the difference in speaker cords and instrument cords and place them properly. Also make sure the "assign A" and "assign B" are positioned correctly. Hope this helps but, if you give me a little info on how you are using this unit, I could help you further, please.
I just purchased the behringer
You are probably overdriving the inputs. You haven't told us the source of the inputs and we can't guess where they may come from. You need to read the manual and make sure your source outputs are within range of what this unit requires.
I replaced the transformer and
Transformers rarely fail... you wasted money on that... Likely one of the rectifier diodes/module or filter caps has shorted. Continued use will burn out the transformer. It is humming because it is overloaded with failing components.
My power cord gave out,
The poower cord is a standard three wire power cord that is used on most computers and other equipment. The cord RARELY fail. You may have some other problem.
HOw do you use the
The crossfader is to gently fade from one source to another. If you only have one, the crosfader isn't useful... it would act like a plain fader with one side being dead and the other at full volume.
It hs no instument lighting,Chanell
is there power to it? does sound come out of it? if not it could be fried or about to fry. Behringer makes low end products, which tend to break fast. if you dont have any sound or lights chances are its unfixable
Hi my behrinher DJX
Sounds expensive.
How did the Canadian plug fit a UK socket?
The fuse won't have blown fast enough to avoid all damage.
Their coucld be an internal fuse - see instruction book.
It won't be a home repair job it its not the internal fuse - sorry.
I have the Behringer Eurorack
It sounds like one of the output devices is going bad, ie., output transistor, capacitor, resistor or maybe just a bad connection on one of the above menitoned items. One other problem which causes this would be the main or sub volume slider or pot is wearing out and needs to be replaced. It would definately be worth your while to have a technician trace down and fix the problem on this board. Hope this helps.
My mic input socket is broken do you have the part
The XLR mic connector is a board mounted part... You will not like the effort to replace it as most of the hardware must be removed from the panel to allow the circuit board to be removed so you can swap the XLR connector. Getting parts from Behringer is time consuming... but may be the only way to insure getting compatible one. Call Behringer to get their part number at 1-425-672-0816
The order from Full Compass... expect it to take a couple months as their repair parts chain is really slow now.
If the master output
Does the distortion ALSO appear when you listen with headphones? If not, the problem may be downstream. The driver for the mute control line to the mute transistors may have a problem. Make sure the mute is off.
Im thinking about buying a
Here is alink to the manual:http://www.behringer.com/EN/downloads/pdf/DJX750_P0956_M_EN.pdf You should have no problems hooking them up (RCA to RCA). I've been using a Behringer XenyX1222FX board in my recording system for about 4 years now and have been quite satisfied with it's reliability. Try to find a dealer who will demo the mixer for you.
