1600 psi electric power washer won't turn on

My washer has a circuit breaker that will shut the unit down and if it shut off while using shut the off switch off and pull the plug and let cool down then restart. if that does not work your inlet on the sprayer wand could be plugged. Take it apart and clean. Do this with all hoses. If you are using a GFI receptacle it may need to be reset.

Pulley is stuck how do you resolve problem?

Pulley ? What pulley? If you mean the recoil starter pull cord is stuck it might be a simple fix. Did your machine tip over on its side? If it did oil often flows into the cylinder. Just remove the spark plug. The recoil cord should pull easily and oil will spurt out the spark plug opening. Pull until oil stops coming out. Check your oil level. Replace your spark plug and see if she starts.

I am looking for a replacement hose for my Blue

Here is a site that shows the lightweight blue max power washer hose
http://www.shopping.com/Psi-Blue-Max-2200-Psi-High-Pressure-Gas-Power-Washer/products
It looks to be a right-fine chinese product manufactured using the technology we paid-for and developed over the past 50 years and then gave away with our jobs overseas.

If you bump up to professional power washers..

Power washer hoses are interchangeable as long as the quick-connects on end of hose can unscrew.

We used power washers a couple times a week. When I needed a new hose, I went to the hydraulic hose shop. They make steel-wound hydraulic hoses for tractors and heavy equipment.

Search 'hydraulic hose in Your-town-your-state'

If the quick-connect ends of the Blue max hose do not come off, check the quick-connect end attached to machine. If it comes off, you can buy a new gun and hose. If the quick connect on the blue max machine does not come off, then the life of your machine is directly related to the life of that single quick-connect fitting.

Search 'power washer guns'
Here's a site with guns like we used

Brigs n straton pressure washer won t stay running

Loosen the carb bowl nut until it begins leaking into the shallow clear glass bowl you placed beneath it. It may take a minute to have drained the water out of the bowl and another minute or so to get some more from the gas tank. With the glass bowl you will be able to see the water in the bottom and gas floating on top of it. When you see the gas on top then tighten the bowl nut and try to crank. (Choking helps draw out water still in carb) Return gas collected. to tank but do not let the water go back in.

Shut itself off and will not restart. New gas in tank

Check reset. alot of machines of this type have one. Also the pressure sensor or relief valve is designed to stop the motor if to much pressure builds up in system. May check this in your manual..

The engine won't start

Ensure that the fuel line is not blocked. Disconnect the small rubber hose from the carburetor. Open the fuel on/off lever and see if fuel runs out of the hose, it should. If not, you probably have a blockage in the hoses, the on/off valve is blocked with debris or sludge, or the small bronze filet inside your fuel tank is blocked also. Take fuel tank off to check for blockage of the fitting. Simple process and you only need a 10mm socket.

if the oil level is at correct level , check that the tank breather in the fuel cap is clear
then change the oil it may be thinning out , and low oil sensor float is not floating and makes the unit think its got a low oil problem - shuts down, also check for a tight valve ?
off the top of head valve clearance for inlet 0.005 thou and ex 0.007 thou

change oil to a 20w/50 or 10w/ 40 oil

should hold about 1.0 litre

Where to get a replacement gun

Best place for replacement parts for many different brands of pressure washers is WWW.Northerntool.com . on the net or at your local Northern tool store. Most washers use standard fittings. The only info that you need is pressure and gallons per min rating. You can purchase a higher quality hose with very high pressure rating however you must use same size gpm tip to obtain proper pressure. Good luck

I have a Pressure Washer with a Kerihin carburetor

Hi, well this could be a stuck float bowl,
Surging, only runs on choke, sputtering: Is the air filter dirty? With the bowl as the lowest part of the fuel system, any dirt or water will wind up here. Turn off the fuel valve, or drain the gas tank, then place a rag under the bowl to catch the gas that will run out. Loosen the "nut" that holds the bowl on, and after the gas has stopped draining remove the nut and bowl, but do not let the float swing all the way down! Wipe out the bowl. The "nut" usually contains 1 or 2 very small passages, soak in (or spray with) carb cleaner and use a wire bread-tie or other soft wire to poke out the holes. Blow out with compressed air, if available. Put the bowl back on and try to start it. If it still will not start, it needs a good soaking and a rebuild kit. Drips, or crankcase fills with gas: Check the float first. Remove the carb, and then the bowl. Remove and shake the float, it should not be full of gas, if it is, replace it. If it is ok then the float needle/seat assembly should be replaced.
