Backup alarm for scooter
Hi,
Please look up the wolo (ba-52) alarm on the Amazon website and this should meet your needs. You can also look at the recommended products that usually show at the top of that product page to find any alternatives as well.
Thank you.
Electric scooter Troubleshooting
A small tip here - bigger is better. The large diameter wheels clear gaps in concrete or pavement that would hang up a skate wheel or a scooter with smaller wheels. Most electric scooters also handle well in gravel and small terrain features. We don't recommend slamming electric scooters into a curb to get over it like some people do with their bike. This could result in damage to the electric scooter. Simply Ollie up a curb and keep going.
Phantom battery won't charge
Hello
Are you sure your battery charger is working correctly. Have you tried it on another battery? Possibly, there is a wiring problem, or your battery is the type that needs distilled water - Try another known good and charged battery with your scooter before purchasing a new one to ensure that the wiring is not faulty.

I have a pride legond and its painfully slow. i
http://www.pridemobility.com/contact.asp Here's the contact link for Pride Mobility. If you bought the scooter used, it may have been reprogrammed by a dealer for a slow maximum speed and not the pot at all. You need a programmer to access the controller and reset the max speed setting to 100% and clear any user profiles from the former owner. Usually when the pot goes out, it is completely dead, or will only operate at one speed, or will operate off and on.
Our Drive Phantom beeps 9
Yes 9 beeps is related to battery problem. But this does not mean battery is faulty. The battery may be good, but its connections got dirty or loose can also cause this 9 beep.
The 9 beeps is an Internal Control Box Trip. These scooters are usually sensitive to bumps due to the battery contacts on the bottom of the battery box and where they connect on the scooter. The scooter contacts are spring loaded posts and should move freely. Both the pads and the posts should be spotlessly clean to achieve a good contact. They should be replaced if they are dirty or worn. You may need to strap the battery pack down somehow or replace the velcro on the bottom of the battery pack and scooter to hold the battery pack firmly in position to stop it from jumping on uneven or bumpy surfaces. The 9 beeps will occur when the scooter loses power momentarily. If so, I would think the battery connections are your only problem. If that doesnt cure your problem, the fault will probably lie in the wiring loom, possibly key switch or even within the battery case itself (corroded terminals.------- There is not much mentioned in the manual about the beeps. But yes all the part names and part disassembly is mentioned very properly with good instructions. So to remove and clean battery connections. You will need this instructions.------ To get this please click the link below and refer the manual.

This will help.Thanks.Helpmech.
The battery is fully charged but the scooter will not move.
Is it the small portable scooter? The one with the base that comes apart for transporting? Could it be a bad connection where it goes back together?
If it is the portable, try disconnecting the rear drive portion from the base and re-installing it so it clicks into place.
I have a problem with a Drive Mini Phantom
It could be battery problems or ECU problems i dont feel the problem stems from the dial or variable switch. if possible try and get a current tester and test how much power the battery's are actually producing. other than those suggestions i dont have any other fixes at present, keep me posted, best regards

My Dad just passed away
tar the batteries are probably too low to charge with the scooter charger and need to be replaced. With the charger plugged in it will indicate a full charge beacuse its reading the output of the charger but when you unplug it the batteries are too low to indicate any voltage. hope this helps you
Second trip with the scooter.

The battery pack charged ok but when pust into
it almost sounds like the switching relay is bad ---- use a volt meter to trace out the voltage and find where it is not going. and while you have the volt meter out, put the leads on the battery and read what the voltage is without trying to move the scooter, take note of the voltage -- now try and move the scooter ( with the leads still on the battery ) and see if the voltage drops,,, if it does drop - then the battery could be bad and does not have enough amps or volts to switch the relay over. if the voltage stays the same - then check the relay and the control switch for proper operation.
if you are still having troubles -- please feel free to write me back here and I will do my best to walk you thru the next steps needed to trouble shoot.

Where can I order parts for the drive medical
Hi is the on /off switch a proper key lock, or a round plug. If it is a round plug then the switch is probably a mono plug available from any radio repair shop. I have changed a few of these.
Is the name phantom a proper brand name, or just a name the importer put on it. Have a llok inside the covers and see if you can find another name, or a serial number sticker.
Good luck. Neil.
