Has anyone been able to find out if these Brookstone massagers can have the old batteries removed & replaced? They stopped selling this model a while ago.

I can solder the proper chemistry batteries together and replace any pack they have in there....but I can't figure out how to get in. No screws visible anywhere.

I have a similar Brookstone model, cordless with heat and cold options. I gave up finding the cord and purchased a dual model charger from Amazon that allows me to chose the voltage of the charge to the item. It appears to be working find now. I did have to play with the input voltage until I found the correct amount in spite of what the charger said. The unit I bought is a Hosa Technology power charger. Number ACD-377. HELLO MEADI had a Theraspa cordless turbo massager that eventually stopped working but I kept the charger.
