When using the margin release DON'T HOLD IT DOWN just press and release. if this dosen/t work turn off the machine and see if the carrier will move both ways relatively freely if not look fot debris and spray a little WD40 on the silver shaft that it slides on.DickyO

try resetting the language with the lang key

The typewriter didn't get to its home position...Make sure the cover is down..,nothing blocking the carriage from moving..check withe the power off...and nothing cought in the printwheel area.

Go to nadist.com you will find a manual there. It's just a matter of using the code key and a top row key. DickyO

You need a new contact sheet and a tech to install it. Not a job for a novice.DickyO216-269-3918

Check the pitch selector switch if it is in PS this will cause this problem.

Go to the margin, press but don't hold the mar rel key, space or backspace to the desired location, press L. or R. margin key dependingon which one you are setting.DickyO
