To set or change the left margin space forward and press the left margin key. If you want to go in the other direction the press the margin release key once(do not hold it down) the use the backspace key to get to the point where you want to set the margin and press the left margin key.

The setting of the right margin works the same way.

If it sounds like it is hitting the paper puy in a multi part form if the copy is OK then you have a ribbon problem, put in a new ribbon. If there is no print on copy be sure the print wheel is properly latched in place. DickyO

It sounds as if the print wheel may be jammed usually caused by a bent letter spoke. Remove the print wheel and check that it can turn also look inside the area that it sits in to see is there is something that is interfering with the wheel.

You probably have the L. margin set there. Return to that point, press but don't hold the MAR REL key, backspace to desired location, press L. MAR key.
