If they sell individual o rings for the trigger area I would try them first, BUT generally if these tools are older and used, it would be to your benefit to rebuild them when apart, it doesn't take that much longer and then you know what you have. In rebuilding make sure to clean all the debris out and lubricate the o rings with a dab of grease before reassembling. Let me know if you need more assistance.

Most likely orings will not blow out when over pressure. More likely the cylinder seal has cracked (vinyl seal sitting on top of the cylinder). Also check the upper bumper for cracks and replace as needed. Lube orings with plenty of silicone paste lube and retest. Good luck

first make sure you are using the right sandpaper for the tool and if it is hook and loop look at the pad for wear that will not allow the paper to adhere fully, if it is a PSA make sure the pad is not damaged.

Hi there,
I'm a retired heavy construction worker and used to run different air tools 10-12 hours a day.At first when the job started everyone had plenty of air presser for there tools but after more guys came on the job there wasn't enough air.At that point we would add an air receiver( big air tank ) just after the compressor and manifolds T,ed off the receiver.Once the receiver filled up no more problems with air presser.I think that more air volume would help.Try one nail gun when you start up next time and if it still doesn't work feel free to consult some one else I took your question because it sounded like an air receiver would help.Thank You for choosing FixYa.

I have the same brad nailer and the samething happened to me, only after looking at a few nails from the previous package i had and the new package i had bought ,i notice i had bougth the wrong gauge size nail, if the nails are a size smaller the driver will grab 2 nails when it comes down .this could be your problem too. check the gauge size of your nails make sure their the right ones for your nailer.
I need the plastic plate for a Rockwell 4601
the original sub base for this tool is obsolete no replacement. My suggestion is to buy another MFR sub base the same size, (most are they used this plate on B&D, Porter Cable and others) and if the holes don't line up exactly you would need to drill and counter sink them. With a little effort on your part you can get this router running again. I checked 4 sites for this part and came up with the same on all about the obs no replacement. Let me know if you need more assistance. Thanks

Plug in the sander, Turn it on and Wiggle the wire around the plug. If your sander jumps on and off your plug need to be replaced. This should be a easy fix if you are a bit mechanically inclined.
If that doesn't work, get a ohm meter and see if your cord is hooped. If cord is fine then look at the brushes.

This plug is usually just a shipping plug to keep trash out. Remove it and install a male quick connect. Put some teflon tape or paste on the threads before installing. Then your end of your air hose should have a female quick connect to plug up to the impact.

the triggers are held in place in the handle with two roll pins. the trigger itself operates off a hinged paddle inside the trigger. this paddle won't operate unless the safety is depressed. both safeties have a return spring. if yours are missing nothing will work. go to porter cable parts site and purchase the correct parts
How do I hold the armature still on a Porter Cable
generally you would use a strap wrench to hold the armature, but if you don't have one use an old piece of rubber and wrap around armature and then gently hold in a vise to take off. Let me know if you need more assistance.
