could be mic has become displaced? or damaged (like by moisture etc) or could be software problem... backup your data via nokia pc suite - & update the firmware via nokia website with the usb cable supplied (instructions to update via software updater are on nokia site)

from what i have found on the nokia 6500c it dont take a memory card the memory is in the phone already, i hope that helps you out.

while u recharging just switch off your phone and recharge......it will helpfull you to reduce the heat

tis s jus cos of software prob n ur phone... connect ur phone to ur pc wit nokia pc suite for ur phone...
an update th software so tat ur prob might get solved...

There are a few aftermarket sim wafer-thin adapter chips... you can get a new one on ebay.. look for "universal sim unlock" or turbo unlock... they are relatively cheap and simply slide in between your sim and the sim connectors... K

This can be a problem for guys repairing this prob on this model themselves. I have repaired this problem several times before by replacing the unit that holds the screen in place. This is the part metal part that has 5 screws in it. once you take the screw out and lift this piece out you will see that there is also a bit of flex attached to it. This flex includes the charging block and also the connections that the speaker is in contact with. First before replacing this part make sure that it is fully connected onto the board and that it isnt just loose. The flex where it connects to the board is doubled over and glued back to back. peeling this apart will help you fit it easier. once LCD and this part is in try plugging the charge in and see what happens. If i is still broken you probably need to replace that bit of flex.

Search Nokia Covers, I have been doing this just recently, it takes patience but there are U Tube demos for how to do this, but if you are in any doubt at all, go to your local Nokia outlet, not worth scratching or damaging your mobile, especially if you didn't purchase the tools with the cover. Or maybe a nice blokey in your provider shop will help you, we are all very nice people us mobile lovers. Good luck

Do you work in an industry where you come into contact with Iron Filings as these get stuck to the loudspeaker and can cause the receive audio to go dodgy. The only covers I know of are used for water proofing as all normal cases have a hole for the speaker so is useless.
