Have the same phone and HAD the same problem. The solution I found is to download Opera Mini (I use version 3.1.0) to your computer(DON'T use your phone to download it or it will be in chinese) then transfer it to your phone with the included USB cable. Then install it. It shows up as a java app. Now your internet will be in english and most of the insufficient memory errors will be gone, as Opera has a way to compress large pages to use less memory.
I need good rechargeble batteries for Sci I9 phone
The standard golden batteries you get with the phone are terrible and only last up to 6 hours! You should get the WHITE batteries which say "Sciphone" on them. I have just ordered the 2800 mAh batteries on eBay; hope they will perform significantly better :-)
Hi i have a sci
Hello,
If the phone is unlock, it will work with any of the canadian network, but if the phone is lock to a particular network, it will only work with that network, in this case, you will need to unlock the phone, in other to be able to use other network.
In your case, if the phone is unlock when you bought and it is not sold by any of the canadian network provider, it should work with any of the canadian network, so the choice is left for you to decide the network you prefer.
Take care.

Hello, I bought a sciphone
You need to specify english when you buy these phones online. My suggestion is to find someone who speaks chinese and get them to switch it for you.
Some how my friend locked
A code maybe or a password? When my cell locked up,I tried a few basic easy numbers...no result. Then I tried the last 4 digits of the phone number for the phone and I was surprised because it worked. That's all I have so good luck!

As far as your home network goes, it should pick it up as long as you have the wifi turned on,in the phone settings, you will have to put in the password for your network. Then it should be automatic whenever you are near a new hot spot. So look at your settings and make sure you enabled it to use a wifi connection. Now on the first part, without knowing what you deleted in that folder it's impossible to give you a definate answer. I would reset the phone, just copy your settings with the program disk that came with the phone, or whatever utility you normally use. You will lose your data but it should restore your phone to the way it was when you bought it.Check for a firmware upgrade first as that would fix the problem. Even re installing the current firmware may solve the problem, but cell phones are tricky so make sure you back up all your music and "stuff" first
Need wap/mms settings for optus (aus) for cect i9 phone
If you have a I9 you must go to this site. very helpful every question you have has been asked at this site. Regestration is free.
http://www.i9forum.co.uk/
Most setups are listed directly on this site. I took this qute from someone asking the same question.
I didnt see the thread they were ytalking bout, but they are suggesting stting it up like the Nokia 2610. I would recommend posting this question again on the above site. Below is what I copied from there.
Hi I'm in Sydney and use Optus mms and wap with no problems. If you look in this thread under the topic Easy configure MMS. Follow the instructions to the Nokia site for the 2610 and you should get a text back to set up MMS and the internet. Good luck It worked fine for me.
