My mouse is not working like it used to. I have to

Does you mouse have a ball? If so, it needs to have the ring that holds the ball into the bottom taken off and the tiny white nylon rollers inside the mouse need to be cleaned, I use a toothpick or a wood match stick. The rollers get lint on them, If you have an electronic ( laser) mouse ( like with a red light), it needs to be blown our with high pressure air or maybe replaced. Be blessed.

Can't find drivers for win 7 64-bit for lenovo y510

Hello,

Windows 7 is a new platform and every hardware manufacture is developing the driver suits for it.Meanwhile you will have to download the drivers directly from the chip manufacturers site e.g. for sound you can download it from http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/.

About the chip manufacturers you can know from the Y510 page where the drivers are there for Vista or XP.

Thanks.

When i start my laptop ....

well I've encounter that before, ok this is what you can do..

XP installer cannot solve the problem..

try to download trial version of widows 7 installer on microsoft website, once you ave it in cd or dvd,

just put it on your cd rom drive and have it start all over again, when prompted to boot on cd, click enter

install the windows 7 directly, after clean installation, then you'll find that your laptop is ok

it is up to you if you would like to keep the windows 7 as your OS or downgrade it to vista or xp.

beware that windows 7 still have a driver issue, but it is working.

HOW TO EJECT A DISC IN LENOVO IDEAPAD 330

The CD/DVD drive may be opened by pressing a button on the drive itself. If the drive does not open by pressing a button on the drive itself, or the button is not available on the drive, Windows natively provides the ability to eject the tray with simple methods that can be performed in the File Explorer. The steps vary from different operating systems:
  • Windows 7
  • Windows 10
Note:
  • Not all systems come with a CD-ROM, CD-RW, or DVD drive installed internally to the computer
    • To verify that, you can check the left and right side of your machine. See if there is any slot to insert your CD/DVD. Normally, there is a button to eject the CD or DVD tray for you to insert a disc
    • Another method to identify this is as below: 1. Click Start and type Device Manager in the search box. Select Device Manager 2. In Device Manager look for DVD/CD -ROM Drives If you don"t see DVD/CD -ROM Drives this means your device has no optical drive hardware. An external optical drive will need to be purchased to run CD/DVD. It is also wise to check your product specification to see if your device has an optical drive. If you were previously able to play CD/DVD and DVD/CD -ROM Drives has disappeared from device manager or your device is not reading the disc please follow > Your CD or DVD drive is not recognized by Windows or other programs.
  • The format capabilities of the drive are listed on the label on the external cover of the drive
  • The CD-ROM, CD-RW, or DVD drive can be opened using the emergency eject hole (Bend away a leg of a paperclip to work with. Insert the paperclip slowly until there is resistance, then gently push until the drive door is opened) Applicable Brands
    • ThinkPad
    • IdeaPad
Solution ·Windows 10 ·Windows 7 Eject disk tray with File Explorer
    1. Turn off all applications currently using the drive. Otherwise Windows will prevent you from ejecting the DVD tray
    2. Hold Windows + E on the keyboard to open File Explorer
    3. Click the DVD drive icon and click the "Eject" button on the toolbar or right-click on the optical drive and choose Eject from the menu that pops up or down.
