I need to know if the speakers on the Korg PA588
Here's a link to the downloadable manuals:http://www.korgpa.com/pa_root/en/products/pa588_man.html?en From reading the quick start manual the impression I got was the speakers stay on but for private playing, the speakers cut out when the headphones are plugged in. This is the way most keyboards are set up. Let me know if this helped.
When i load the lastest version
Make sure that you step up through any previous revisions... OCCASIONALLY some music equipment REQUIRES going up one revision at a time without skipping one. They will usually have the previous revisions availlable to download as well when this is the case.
Not booting after upgrade to latest version
The latest version is version 2. First try downloading the update again here:http://www.korg.com/SupportResults.aspx?productid=271 Don't forget to download and install the latest Midi driver and USB driver as well. They are available at the same address. I couldn't get the FAQs section to work there so I couldn't look at it. If you still have trouble try contacting them or try this site:http://www.sweetwater.com/sweetcare/ Let me know if this helps.
Recording problem on pa800
It seems as though it may just be a sample issue.I have had this similar problem before, because each drum hit corresponds to a key on the piano. It could also be the program you are using to open it.
Hw to cancel tha vairs to pa800?
Read the manual if you have one. If not get in touch with Korg.com and they will help you. You may even get a manual download.
Good Luck
G key not sounding
If it is a single key, then the key contact either needs cleaning or there is a crack in the circuit board with the contacts. These likely are conductive rubber contacts. Take them apart and clean with 99% isoprophyl alcohol. They are usually a black rubber "pill" in a silicone rubber dome that is pressed onto traces on a circuit board. Clean both the pi;ls and the circuit board. Do all thekeys at the same time to avoid having to take apart to do others later.
If ALL G sharps keys are dead, then either a wire is broken or circuit board connector or a crack exists in the board. Cracks in the board is USUALLY fatal.

Im Thibking about buying a PA 800 in France
excellent question, there is prolly a different plug and its most likely a EURO cable , so yes you DO need the adapter should be able to get it there at the place your buying it at...and it ALSO needs to be able to ron on 110v (us standard) vs. the 208 or what ever the euro wattage is. if its switchable but you CANT find an adapter, buy a female end at the hardware store in france then when in US get a runner to goto the hardware store and get a male edison and 1 foot on 12-14 gauge wire and make one simply enough...IT NEEDS TO BE SWITCHABLE
