Singer Quilter Confidence - needle moves when winding bobbin
If the needle on your Singer Quilter Confidence machine moves when you're winding the bobbin, it's likely due to a few possible reasons. Here are some steps you can take to resolve this issue:
- Check the threading: Make sure the thread is properly threaded through the machine, as an incorrect threading can cause the needle to move during bobbin winding.
- Tighten the needle clamp screw: If the needle clamp screw is loose, it can cause the needle to vibrate during bobbin winding. To tighten the screw, use a screwdriver to turn the screw clockwise.
- Check the bobbin winder tension: If the bobbin winder tension is too loose, it can cause the needle to move. To adjust the tension, refer to the manual for your Singer Quilter Confidence machine.
- Check for any obstructions: Make sure there are no obstructions near the needle, such as thread tails, fabric, or lint, as these can cause the needle to move during bobbin winding.
If you've tried all of these steps and the needle continues to move during bobbin winding, it may be a mechanical issue that requires a professional to fix. I would recommend contacting Singer for further assistance.
My singer soulmate 5500 keeps coming on E6 and I have a threaded correctly and the Bobben is OK so I don't know what the problem is can you help me
he error E6 on a Singer Soulmate 5500 sewing machine is typically associated with a threading error. If you have confirmed that the thread is correctly threaded and the bobbin is in good condition, here are a few other things you can try:
- Check the needle: Make sure the needle is the correct size and type for the fabric you are sewing, and that it is securely inserted into the machine.
- Check the tension: The tension of the thread may be incorrect. Adjust the tension dial until the thread is feeding through smoothly.
- Clean the machine: Dirt and debris can build up in the machine over time, causing issues with the threading and operation. Clean the machine thoroughly and make sure the threading path is clear.
- Check for thread jams: Remove any thread that may be jammed in the machine and clear the path for the thread.

How do you adjust the pressure on the foot on a Singer 7033 Signature Machine
You can't adjust the presser foot force on the 7033. The loose loops indicate the top thread tension is too low. Try re-doing the top thread with the needle and presser foot fully up. Next make sure that the area under the bobbin case is clean. If you are still having an issue, consider a walking foot to keep the fabric layers together. Make sure to get one for a slant shank sewing machine.
I hope this helps.

Singer model 7363 after power on all lights continue to flash and a short noise occurs just once and the machine is not operational
by a few different things. One possibility is that there is a problem with the power supply or a component that is preventing the machine from starting properly. Another possibility is that there may be an issue with the control board or one of the sensors on the machine that is causing the lights to flash and the machine to produce a noise.

The issue you are describing with your Singer 9960 bobbin winder could be caused by a few different things. One possibility is that the clutch is not properly engaging or disengaging. Another possibility is that the bobbin winder belt may be loose or damaged, causing the needle to move up and down and making noise while winding the bobbin. It is also possible that there may be a problem with the bobbin winder mechanism itself.
I would recommend checking to make sure the clutch is engaging and disengaging properly, and check the bobbin winder belt and mechanism for any signs of damage or wear. If you continue to experience problems, it may be best to consult the manual or contact the manufacturer for further assistance.
Is it hard to replace all the gears on a touch and soul singer model 638
Replacing all the gears on a Touch and Sew Singer Model 638 sewing machine can be a difficult task and should be done by a qualified technician or a sewing machine repair professional. The process of replacing the gears involves taking apart the entire machine, which can be complex and time-consuming.
The technician will need to have a working knowledge of the internal mechanics of the machine and access to the proper tools and replacement parts. The process also includes adjusting and aligning the gears after replacement, to ensure proper function of the machine.
It's important to note that It could be easier and cheaper to service the machine instead of replacing all the gears, this will depend on the condition of the gears and the technician's assessment.
It's recommended that you take your sewing machine to a professional sewing machine repair shop or a authorized Singer service center to have it checked and repaired if necessary.
Singer 99K: thread can't pass the bobbin case
Do not loosen the screw. The most likely issue is that you didn't get the bobbin case in exactly the right position. Remember you have to get the forked end straddling the bracket. Then twist the bobbin case slightly to the left and back as you push it down lightly. Keep doing this until the edge of the sewing hooks engages in the groove under the rim of the bobbin case. It can take practice to get the bobbin case properly aligned.
I hope this helps.

(I have a slightly different Singer model. It still takes three tries to replace the bobbin case at times. It's hard to tell exactly how far to twist and push the unit even when I think it's aligned properly.)
