Jazz DV-171 Camcorder - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
How do you unlock the sd card
SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If this doesn't do it, try another card.

Wont read sd card
Make sure you are using a standard SD card. Most SD cards larger than 2GB are only available in the SDHC format. (Designed for Hi Def video). I did some research on your model and concluded that your camera only supports standard SD.

I transferred movies files stored
Are you sure the files are transferred to the sd card. With some camcordes you can transfer files back and forth, you can only copy the to your pc... unplug and plug it in again and check if the files are still there if aren't use a sd card reader to transfer these files back to your cam. But if the files are on the sd card and your camera still doesn't read them, try recording a new movie, see where it's located, does it have a seperate folder and try doing the same with your org movie. I hope it helps. :)
