Remove the LCD monitor stand, purchase a wall mounting bracket. There are several types, one is on an articulated arm which allows you to left, right, up and down. Another type mounts flat to the wall with limited up and down adjustment.
You need to check the mounting holes on the wall brackets so it matches the mounting screw holes on the LCD screen.

More likely to have failed power supply due to bad caps, that will be the first place to look.

1. check if your system is running if you hear any sound from your desktiop like fan moving if not then system is not working but if yes then issue with moniter


also check correct video input is selected

i had the same problem, the blue led would flash too on mine. I slapped the back of the monitor fairly hard and it came back on, then i disabled monitor sleep mode and screen saver and its been good for 30 days. I do run the monitor 24/7 too so...:) if its still eledgiable for waranty just send it in and have them fix it. 3 years i think is the average limit. they pay for shipping too :)

Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply (they should be replaced in a set), blown fuses; poor solder joints, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). just get hold of the top and bottom of the monitor and push it back or forward.
If it wont tilt with minimum effort, it may not have a tilt function, or it is broken, i have never had any problems with any monitor

To be honest it sound like a tube gone at the back , the easy way to find which one is to plug in another plate from another LCD, I' done this with 19 and 17 , just don't leave it connected for ever,
So select 1 of 4 the plate leads and leave it unconnect to your w2234s inverter and plug in one lead from your other plate to give 4 connection and see it it lights, your can do all 4 or in pairs. Having found the broken tube or part then replace it. If it still fails it the inverter, the manual will tell to where the 5v and 16v are using a voltmeter to check the caps if showing 15v to 20v then ok(brightness control) etc, I had to print the manual to read it. Check the 5 power transistor, three around the caps , two on the flip, all have silver heat sinks, they control the voltage in three steps from out side to the ccfls in 110v/240v to 5v and 16v to 750 volts , see where it stop flowing, it's in the circuit diagram. In the three that i have seen, the caps where ok , tubes where weaking, maded january 2008. I hope this helps.

Um, its because your useing the monitor too much. if you keep it up your monitor will break due the the high graphics of warcraft. and it will **** to have to buy a new one :D so i suggest you stop playing so much

The line appeared because the commands to the pixels in that line got damaged. The only thing you can do is to take it apart and reseat the connectors to the lcd panel. If it's the same then the fault is in the panel itself and this is unfixable. Either use it as is or junk it.

With the external monitor connected press Ctrl+Alt+Upward Arrow keys on your keyboard all at the same time.

This should help to correct the display.

bcas651, Carla, did you push and hold the MENU button for 5-6 seconds? LG web site has procedure for most out-of-production units (online downloadable user guides) you should check out. You will need correct model number to do selection there. 12fixlouie

mcdevito75 here, The volumn control can also be adjusted on the keyboard, top of keyboard or on the side you"ll see the symbols for the volume control, also there should be adjustments on your head set.
