same problem, but not capacitors

Usually this is because the display has been changed from 16:9 (widescreen) mode to 4:3 (standard) mode. On the front panel there's a button labelled "4:3 in Wide." Press this button to return to Widescreen mode. If it says "OSD Locked" then you need to hold the "Menu" key for several seconds to unlock the controls, before changing it to widescreen. If that doesn't correct the problem then you need to adjust your computer's output resolution to a 16:9 ratio like 1920x1080 (1080p) or 1280x720 (720p.)

This is usually a sign that the controller for the mini florescent bulbs went out. but try it on another computer maybe its your video card.

Does your PC has plugged in video card, you can try reseating it first? If it has integrated video card in the mother board, then there may be not much you can do.
Did you install any new software or update any drivers?

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your ((motherboard to your hard drive)) make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them they might be faulty make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electical extensions

even something as small as an electrical fan and its lead can cause this problem or just replace them they could be faulty a computer needs all electrical power and data to continue through every working device and to have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error

make sure your graphics card is securely seated with no dust built up or in the socket

check the 5 volt regulator or 12 volt regulator IC

After geting heatup the IC may malfunction.

Change the regulator IC

To find out where the problem is, you will have to try this monitor with another PC or try another monitor with this PC first to narrow down the problem.
