I deleted my videos from sony handycam I need to

Those deleted videos are highly possible to be recovered, you should use video recovery software to help, here are some programs you may rely on. Both programs can also recover photo and music files.

Video Photo Recovery Software (for Windows)
Mac Video Photo Recovery Software (for Mac OS X)

A Tip:
Before your videos are recovered, do not attempt to save more files to the handycam memory card or stick in case the original files(your videos) are overwritten.

Accidentally deleted videos, they would not play on camcorder, played on PC, any way to recover them?

When files are deleted they still remain on camcorder hard drive and can be recovered, unless they have been overwritten by fresh data. The only thing to do so run a data recovery program to see what can be recovered. The only program I have tested is asoftech data recovery software and it had done the job well. download the data recovery from http://www.asoftech.com/adr/Select the drive where your files were deleted and then do a deep scan. It will find your deleted files.

Use as webcam

You can use the A/V interface to use the Camcorder as webcam.. However, it is not commonly used method. It would be good if you go for stand alone webcam as the A/V method is too complex and most of the new applications are not compatible with this method.

Sir, E31 error suddently happend

You can recover lost photos, videos from memory card or memory stick of your camcorder with this
1. Do not save any new photos and videos into the memory card or memory stick.
2. Connect the memory card or memory stick with computer. You should see it shown as a drive letter (like H:) in My Computer.
3. Download recovery software, recommended one is Tenorshare Data Recovery (simply because i was using it and it worked)
http://www.any-data-recovery.com/product/datarecoverystandard.htm
4. Install and open the program, select your memory drive, and click 'Start' button to start scanning process which will find your lost photos and videos.

Got water in my camera

You should let the camera air out for a few days in a dry place. Make sure to take out the battery. That will ensure the moisture in the camera will have time to evaporate. You can try to turn on the camera after a few days, if it does not work, wait a couple more days. If still nothing, you will have to get the camera repaired, as the water probably did damage the electronics inside.

When ever I record video for longer than an hour

This seems to be your built-in drive, if the camera is of the early type using these disks then your drive will be full, remember that a simple 4 min movie could be 2 gb in size in colour with sounds.

Sony cam as webcam?

As the Camcorder is a Hard Disk Drive Camcorder and it does not support USB streaming feature so it is not possible to use this Camcorder as Webcam.

Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!
