Panasonic SDR-H60 HDD Camcorder Questions & Answers
Hi. My Panasonic SDR-H60 HDD
If it has a memory card, usually SD or SHD mini-card, buy, beg or borrow a card-reader which plugs into your computer USB port, try copy / recover files from card to PC.
If you can't see the files then maybe try free download Express Recovery.

How to remove write protection from my panasonic SDR-H60 camera
If the write-protect has been set on the camera, then a brief perusal of the manual should enable you to choose the menu option for changing this. If the recording media has been finalised, then it is not possible to reverse this, as far as I know.

View screen is grey, cant see pictures
The most likely cause for this is a damaged or defective flexible ribbon cable that connects the LCD to the camera body and can be repaired fairly inexpensively. However, it's not a user serviceable problem and will need to be repaired by a qualified service technician.
My name is Rick and I'm a professional repair technician with over 20 years in the business and have repaired many of these. I'm semi retired and work from home with little overhead so I can keep repair costs low. If you decide to have the camera repaired, please click HERE for a directory listing that suits your needs.

Lost user manual for sdr-s50 sd how can i get one
Hi,
You can view and download the complete instruction manual in PDF format from the manufacturer's website by clicking this
link.
- You'll require Adobe PDF Reader installed on your computer to view the manual. If it is not already installed on your computer, download it free from: http://get.adobe.com/reader/
Hope this solves your problem. Thanks for using

You will need to capture the movies from the camcorder. You can't directly copy files of the camcorder. For capturing movies open imovie and use the capture from camera option to start capturing. Once its done save the movie. Detailed instructions for capturing
can be accessed by clicking hereHope this helps,

Hello,
Good news and bad news. The bad news is that Panasonic does not supply a download for the software, but only an update to it.
Refer to:
SDR-H60 Downloads
Now the good news. I did find a site that offers the download of VideoCam Suite 1.0. It is:
http://www.brothersoft.com/videocam-suite-297215.html
This is a huge download...Nearly 300MB. Do not even attempt it if you do not have broadband. (DSL or Cable)
I have not used this site so its satisfaction is not guaranteed. There are other links on this site to scan your computer. They may be legit, but I wouldn't do it.
The only other recourse would be to contact Panasonic for a new CD which they will no doubt charge you for. If you should decide to do that the customer service number is 1-800-211-7262.
Thanks for using Fixya.

Hello. The stuck lens assembly is triggering an error condition--and you get the "press reset" to make you reset the internal computer in the cam. Was the unit dropped or did it have some sort of impact--this would cause the internal lens mechanism to become mis-aligned. Also, leaving the cam in a hot car can cause grease(or other lubricants) to flow to movement surfaces, thereby causing a "glue" effect. Look into the lens(cam off) under a bright light and try to determine if the internal lens assembly is crooked. Also, try to see if there is any "wet" area appearing anywhere(especially if the cam was exposed to heat--classic symptom) If the lens assembly is indeed mis-aligned, the cam must be sent to a repair facility. (Also, make sure the battery is fully charged as a weak charge will cause lens jamming(and a whole host of weird phenomenons)---Rick
