CE Error on both sides
Good Afternoon Friend,
I understand you are receiving a "CE" error code on both displays on your Electrolux refrigerator, model# EI26SS55GS. This "CE" code means there is some type of communication error. I suggest resetting your refrigerator, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Once power is restored, you will need to press the "Mute Sounds" button to turn the alarm off. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your refrigerator status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.
-Best Regards-

Water leaking somewhere in exlectrolux freezer and causing the fan to freeze up. Help
Hello friend, thanks you for your post!
It sounds like a possible leak within your water line or water filter and that is what could be causing your Electrolux refrigerator fan to freeze. I would recommend having a professional come out to properly diagnosis your refrigerator.
The leak could also be within the cabinet and a technician would have the appropriate tools need to locate the cause of the leak. I hope this information has been helpful. -Matt

Refridgerator not cold enough
Hello S, thank you for allowing me to assist you!
Here are a few simple
troubleshooting tips that may help you resolve this issue:
First
check clearances around your refrigerator. There must be adequate space around
a refrigerator with a static condenser so that air can circulate properly.
Proper clearances include 1" at the back and 3" on top of the refrigerator.
Examine
your doors. If the doors have been opened too often or for too long, this may
have allowed warm air to enter the refrigerator. Make sure to shut the door
completely and be sure not to keep the door open for too long. Even leaving a
door slightly open can allow too much warm air intake. Make sure refrigerator
is level and keep food and containers from blocking the door closing.
Check
the door seal. You do this by placing a dollar bill between the body of the
refrigerator or freezer and close the door. The dollar bill should stay in
place and pull out with a small amount of resistance. If the dollar bill falls
out when placed between the gasket and cabinet, double check to see if the door
is being blocked by anything that may be stopping it from closing. If nothing
is stopping the door from closing then the gasket may need replacing.
Check
to see if the condenser is dirty. A dirty condenser cannot release heat
efficiently into the surrounding air. Cleaning the condenser may be necessary,
more if you have animals in the house. If you have condenser coils, they should
be wiped occasionally with a damp cloth to remove accumulated dust. The
condenser coils should be wiped occasionally with a damp cloth to remove
accumulated dust.
Check
for any obstructions to the vent to ensure proper air flow. If the vent is
blocked, the air in the refrigerator will not get cool.
I recommend to double check the
freezer control. If the freezer control is set too warm, set freezer control to
a colder setting and allow 24 hours for temperature to stabilize.
If these assessment measures prove to be ineffective, I
would strongly suggest contacting an authorized service technician who would be
better able to assist you in the diagnosis and repair of your unit. You can
often locate an experienced technician in your area by going to the
manufacturer website.
Same prblem as person who listed Alarm going off
I ended up buying the parts from Electrolux - cost $384 plus tax. The repair is relatively easy and you can do it yourself. My problem was locating the main power board - who would have thought it would be behind the front kick plate attached to the bottom of the refrigerator.
My E123CS55GS Electrolux Side by Side Refridge is
when temperture is droping its a good indication it fuctioning properlt but when the refrigerator doesent go down to the desired temt of 37 you may have to clean the coils in back of the refrigerator this can be done easily as it worked for me you can use a aircompresor to blow any heavy dust the unit has acummilated or you can use a soft brisle brush even a tooth brush is good in hard to reach areas.
Fridge keeps powering on and off
Your controller board is about to die. Call an appliance repair center and see if the board is user replaceable. Be prepared for sticker shock, the part is going to be expensive, unless it is under warranty.
