might be best if you reset password. go to your email web site and log in. email address fine, then look for small question forgotten password. complete with your email address, if recorded with email website it will send you a link or offer to alter change password. if lucky then remember to save password to pc memory. you can then look up in settings passwords in fact try that first go to settings and general then passwords if logged you should get code to open if you haven't altered try 0000 bevlucky will let you in then sift through other passwords to find your. then edit change AND REMEMBER. Try reversing the polarity of the phone line - some Central Office equipment reverses the line voltage to indicate Message Waiting. Your jack may be miswired (for a lot of phone equipment, polarity doesn't mattter).

This is usually programmed as one of the 'soft' buttons down the right hand side of the device - subject to the programming of your phone / and the system.Usually the T7208 is connected to the BCM range of PBX systems - in which case, to transfer a call, you'd use Feature 70. If the phone doesn't ring when called by the extension number of the phone then try to use the volume up button while someone is calling the phone. The volume is a multi-purpose button that doubles for phone volume and ringer volume. However, the only way to turn up the ringer is when a call is coming into the phone.

If the display also goes off during the time of all the lights flashing on and off it sounds like you have a bad phone and it will need to be replaced. Try a different phone to see if you still experience the same issue.

F983 and F985 are voice mail access feature codes. Try rebooting your voice mail system to see if the unit recovers. There is no switch so you will need to unplug the power to the VMS to reboot.

The set you called is forwarded to voice mail, but the phone doesn't have a mailbox.
