When you are on the phone, you can hear the ring

check inside wiring connected to jack for this phone. It is possible old sub-standard category -3 cable was used which would cause inductive cross. If that is the case use cat-5 or even cat-6 cable. The difference is the twists on this cable are tighter ,therefore eliminating most inductive cross.

Why am I not receiving General Mailbox voicemails?

Hi, Please make sure that the customer is calling the correct number that you think that they're calling. Then, call this number yourself and leave a message before going to check the message again. If you can't find your message, please call the business' phone company and ask them if there are multiple mailboxes linked to your business phone number. If so, they can provide access to the other mailbox for you. Thank you.
