My dell laptop keys 1QAZ KEYS ARE NOT WORKING

if a row is not working, in this case at an angle, it usually means either the keyboard is going bad, or the cable is not in right. Often unplugging and replugging the keyboard into the MB will fix a missing row.

I am running windows 7 and I would like to know how to install an old version of printmaster silver 10 on windows 7

Printmaster 10 may not work with Windows 7. Just uninstall Printmaster 2012 then install Printermaster 10 using the installation CD.I recommend you go to the Printmaster support site and ask them if version 10 will work with Windows 7 so you do not have to uninstall 2012 version if version 10 will not work with Windows 7.

you have not described you problem in full detail but even i try to solve it. when laptop is in off condition you have to press R + Turn ON button which makes reset (not restore) your C MOS memory so whatever settings has been changed are automatically resets and your laptop will turns ON so just do it. If further problem occurs then immediately call DELL onsite service.thank you for giving me this opportunity to solve you problem.

My dell inspiron 1720 locks up frequently - this

Hi,

Try running these scans in Safe Mode.

Keep pressing F8 on startup, and choose 'Safe Mode' from the list that appears.

If you still find it locking up during scans, you may have a hardware problem that needs fixing.

Regards.

One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or to shutdown or fail to detect your hard drive

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your ((motherboard to your hard drive)) make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them there probably old and faulty make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electic extensions or just replace them they are probably faulty a computer needs its connections to have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error click start control panel administrive tools, computer management ,disk management right click on your drive select properties click tools you should see click check now click start two boxes automatically fix files and scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors place then a tick in both boxes then select check now, start should schedule this task when restart do not do anything while the chkdsk utility is in progress any input will damage your computer hope this helps

My dell battery charger less than a week

The problem might be with your battery and not your charger. The lithium batteries that are used on laptops have a definite 3 year lifespan to them. Once that time passes the battery will no longer charge to 100%, and it will discharge quicker and quicker. Dell has a built in battery minder program installed on their hardware. If you left click on the Quickset icon in your Taskbar, a window with 3 tabs will open up. The last tab accross the top is for battery health. You can click on this tab to see if there are any warnings for your battery. If it is close to the end of its lifespan you will see a message similar to "Your battery is able to charge normally. However it is reaching the end of it's usable life. You can experience a longer operating time with a new battery. You might want to consider purchasing a new battery now." Once your battery does reach its end, you will get a red warning balloon stating the battery is now at the end of it's cycle and needs to be replaced.

If you do not see any of these messages then the fault probably lies with your charger. The only way you could test this is to try another charging of the same model. If you do not own an extra one then you will probably have to take your system into the local repair shop to have them test it out.

Thank you for the opportunity to assist you in resolving your issue. Should you need further information or assistance please do not hesitate to let us know.

My laptop fails to start...

Your operating system is damaged, First try loading default value in your bios menu via in the exit tab, then save and exit which could be clocking error registration. If that doesn't work, I would assume that the operating system is currupted and you need to repair your operating system with the recovery/driver cd that came with your system. Load that into your drive, and change the boot option to dv/cd as boot priority and follow direction from there on. Should be a option to repair windows and a option to reformat and clean install. You want to repair first, to see if the promblem is solved. Please save or copy any important data before formating your drive. If you should have any question please feel free to ask.
