As you mention that it you run the HP health check and I believe that your computer makes unable. to boot up properly.

When booting up, press F8 to go to advance booting option menu.
If there is an option : BOOT FROM LAST KNOW CONFIGURATION, Choose it or otherwise, choose RUN ON SAFE MODE. and follow the below procedure.

Try to go to START
Choosse ACCESSORIES
Right click on DOS COMMAND PROMPT and run as administrator
Then type SFC /SCANNOW and press enter.
Wait to run the scanning problem.

If not, go to START
ACCESSORIES
SYSTEM TOOLS
SCAN DISK for error and it will automatically fixed some errors
When finished try to restart your computer.

If still the same, when you are in the SAFE MODE.
Go to START
Choose RUN
Type MSCONFIG and a system configuration window will pop up
Choose the STARTUP
Then uncheck all the START UP PROGRAMS LIKE YAHOO AND PREVIOUS on you installed before that corrupted your computer.
Also go to SERVICE and then uncheck the HP heath check you installed.

Try to use Skype that is the 'latest' version downloaded off of the Internet. This may be the problem.with no video with an otherwise good camera.

Also, check the the drivers for the camera to make sure it has no errors.

The problem is caused by a program that is set to start at boot. Finding which is causing that will be a very long and complicated procedure. Far faster and easier is to just reinstall windows.

Motherboard is defective & needs to be replaced with a new one.
You can find a replacement motherboard by searching on e-bay.com with the motherboard's model number. This could be found under the RAM.

Sounds like you have a memory problem. Either a RAM module is defective & needs to be replaced, or the slot where the RAM module goes into is not making good contact between the motherboard & the memory module, & needs to be cleaned.

Try first cleaning the RAM module slot with a non-oily contact cleaner. Leave it to dry for few minutes then install the RAM module & test if the computer will turn on. If it does not, replace the RAM module with a working one & test again.

This means that your windows operation system is failing. as soon as the computer is rebooted, please try the key F12 on your keyboard (sometimes it's F8 or these keys with the ctrl). See if you have a menu and then press load through Safe Mode. If the windows still won't load, then your windows needs a reboot. If it loads with the Safe Mode, please send me a reply through this post, so that I can further guide you.

Looks like the post itself fails on the system from what you have told here. Its easy to reset the bios. Download the actual bios flash program on a completely formated usb drive. Fix the usb on your laptop and keep fn+esc keys pressed and switch on the laptop. It will rewrite the bios and once rebooted the system should work. Good Luck.

the screen could be somehow become disconnect with the motherboard. If your screen is loose then the wires could have come loose also. try ctrl f3. i think this is a hardware problem. take it to best buy

The power jack on the side of the notebook is either damaged & need to be replaced, or it just needs to be re-soldered to the laptops mainboard.
In either case, the laptop needs to be disassembeled & the jack either re-soldered or replaced.

They have added an extra year to the original warranty and it would be to your benefit to check first.

Are you sure you have identified properly the connectors ? I have never seen such cable : HDMI to RCA. HDMI is digital signal. RCA is analogic signal. You need a signal converter (modulator). Could be expensive.
