Try removing the battery and just powering on the laptop using the AC adapter. If it powers on normally without the battery then you need a new battery.

Boot up with the vista disk that came with your laptop and do system recovery again. Ignore the file corruption message because your going to be reversing your OS back in time to when your files weren't corrupted. Back it up to a time you know it works, the dates will be listed. Afterwards things should be fine, but know that vista does this alot for alot of people.
NOTE: when you go back in time you will not have any files you had inbetween the date you back it up to and today.
OTHER THOUGHTS: those mac commercials from way back when weren't just Evil Apple iPropaganda. Consider updating to Windows 7, I've never had a problem with it- where as your boot loop error happened to me on a weekly basis.

First thing to try, start up in safe mode. When power on, keep tapping F8 key till text screen menu comes up. Choose Safe Mode.
You will see bunch of text on screen then it will take a while before asking you to log in. (2-3 mins?)
When logged in, do a system restore.
Start button, Programs, Accessories, System Tools, System Restore..
Choose to restore, choose a recent bold date when you know it worked, click Ok (or continue, forgot what it says there..) Let it do it's thing.
This will reverse any recent change that may have caused the problem.
If will not start again, then repost for more help.

Have you tried Dell's web site? I was able to purchase one and have it shipped to me in New Zealand when mine was stolen. If you would prefer to find a dealer in Ireland, try Dell's customer service liink for a referral to their distributor there.

Always be sure to close any open programs you do not need to run at that particular time. Also, close your internet connection. The reason for this is to allow the maximum amount of memory to be used by your media software.. Try this. It should work, ok? GOOD LUCK!! Lucky4lynn2

MY DELL INTEGRATED WEBCAM HAS BEEN WORKING
This can happen for several reasons :
1 - Multiple applications running in the backgroud (Antivirus / Spyware etc...)
2 - Internet activity, slowing the processor.
3 - Lack of space / Poor fragmented drive.
4 - Drivers may be corrupted
Corrective Actions
1 - Close any 'unwanted / redundant applications when playing with videos.
2 - Disconnect ethernet or wireless when creating videos.
3 - Make space on the Harddrive (you will need 'double' the space of the video, as atemprary version is normally created first - A 30minute video ideally will require a minimum of 500meg to 1gig of space just to start with.
4 - Re-install your web-cam drivers
