If you are using a memory card, take no more pics until you've recovered the photos, take the card out of the camera. This is to reduce the chance of you overwriting some of your "lost" photos. There are many good freeware photo recovery software options that are available to help you recover your photos. This blog article reviews and outlines several of the better ones.
All the download links listed in the article are through CNET, primarily to verify that these are malware free software, and to give you a chance to read user reviews on the software before downloading.

How would you get pics/videos from this camera to

The best way to download pictures and videos from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures and videos from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

Im just asking for the repair services of GE A835

LCD repair is expensive. Best bet is to do it yourself. Buy a used camera through ebay.com (one sold for parts, but with good LCD).Then change the LCD.
A good set of instructions are given in the following sites:

http://camerarepair.blogspot.com/2007/11/fixing-or-replacing-broken-lcd-screen.html
You need to buy a screwdriver set for $1 from Dollar store. That is all you need.
