Printer error paper jam and no paper to be found!
Hello there
You may not see a paper jam.
This may work for you, it has worked for many here I given this advice so gave it a try it could work for you.
Generally when this happens, something has fallen into the printer, or a piece of paper has been jammed in there.
First step, remove the ink cartridge, and turn the printer upside down and gently shake it, see if anything comes out.
If nothing goes, or you can't hear anything rattling around, get a piece of cardstock paper (60lb or heavier) and gently push this through the printer, to see if it will help push out what might be stuck in there.
And gave the rode that the ink slides on a good clean and maybe a bit oil on cloth and wipe the rod with it.
Also clean The purge unit, called a spittoon assembly in an HP, Lexmark, Caonon and other inkjet printers, is where the print head assembly parks when not in use, also its other job is to clean and make sure the print head is clean and open for printing.
That is where you'll find the print head assembly parked on top of it.
It also has an electrical pump to milk the print heads and test for ink flow.
So clean all under where the heads are parked and on IP6600D models you can take out the heads just by clipping them out, and then clean well.
Please come back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one so I will keep on helping.

Hi,
Your error code, 3821, means that the internal memory is screwed up!
Solution:
Unplug the printer for a whole minute for the memory to discharge itself. Anyway, that will force a memory reload and everything will be just fine.
Also, here is an alternate fix if the one above (which is the fastest way) does not work:
Open and close the front door, if this does not reset the machine, turn off machine, switch back on while holding the utillity/counter key, after you see a black dot in the corner of the lcd let go of the utillity/counter key. the machine will take a while to boot up, and when it does you will see trouble reset on the lcd, press the reset on the lcd, switch off the machine leave it off for 10 to 20 sec's and then switch back on. If this does not work you have a screwed fsr, if it does work, it might come back at some point if the firmware is not up to date , the latest is vR6
No need to ask Kodak.
Hi,
Sir, you did not specific what the problem is, then only we will be able to help you.

In this printer the actual printing head is separated from the ink cartridge, it's part of the carrier. This carrier moves across the page on a rail. To keep the connection with the mainboard the carrier has a ribbon cable attached to it.
If the jammed paper has somehow went over the roller then the paper would have entered in the path of the carrier and its cable: the ribbon cable could have been dislodged or even yanked out of its socket from the carrier. If that is what has happened then the connection has been lost so the mainboard thinks that the printing head is missing.
To fix that you will need to manually pull the printing head to the left (with the AiO unplugged of course) and refit the cable in the carrier. If that doesn't fixes it the printer will have to be dismantled (6 screws on the bottom plus 4 on the sides and a lot of peripheral clips) and the cable replaced - it was damaged. This is a job that is quite complicated, you will need to take the printer to a repair shop. A spare cable is cheap, the labor, about 3 hours, will be expensive so you have 3 options (in the order of the cost):
1 - you try to fix it yourself - you have nothing to lose anyway.
2 - you discard this one and buy a new one.
3 - you have this one repaired by a shop.

Usually you pull the paper out by pulling fimly on the part that is left out from where it goes in
