The busy tone from your cellphone is sent when you are busy with one call & there is another incoming call. The following solution is only not to avoid certain callers or to avoid all callers. It may or may not serve your purpose. For this facility to work you have to make group/s of the certain callers & select them in manage calls.
If you want to disable busy tone sent, you can do it by selecting menu - settings - calls - manage calls - accept calls - only from list or none. In this case the person at the other end will receive "not reachable" message.Selecting only from list allows you to receive the calls from the selected groups/callers from your list. Selecting none will not allow anyone to call you. But in both the cases only you will know that who has called you & not the caller that you received missed calls.

The flex cable from the display is shorting against the metal plate that supports it. The cable runs along the bottom of the display, and when the phone is closed, the buttons press against the display causing the wires to short against the metal.

Disassemble the top part of the phone, and place a piece of electrical tape along the bottom portion of the metal plate. This will solve the problem. Google "replace display sony ericsson w380". You should find instructions with photos about how to disassemble phone.

Hi,I would strongly advise you go through the ringer settings to see if the volume isn't muted.but if all is in order I wouldt suggest you visit a mobile phone tech man to fix that for you by either servicing the mobile or replacing the ringer.Take care.

hi the problem may be because of two reasons fist check that the battery of ur cell has been used for more than one or two years generally u should try replacing ur battery after 1&1/2 years of ur use if not the electrolytes in the cell will be used up and ur cell not not be charged for more than one year if it has not been more than one year then check the pin of ur mobile for any rust marks of any sort of dust take a piece if clean cloth and take a small pinch of solution(e.x. colin,etc) and wipe the pin thoroughly with the cloth then try connecting ur charger and see whether the battery lasts long or not if the problem still persists contact ur sony ericcson service centre for help was this useful if yes pls rate my solution or provide ur problem in brief to get a more clear solution
