Hi I have a DA4000lr angle makita drill I am trying to make it a straight drill.problem is that when I've fitted the chuck straight onto the drill , it is so violent .need to make it ok Thanks andy

Here is the manual for your drill. It does show you how to remove the angle attachment and installing a straight chuck. Maybe when you install the straight chuck it is not positioned correctly. http://powertool.manualsonline.com/manuals/mfg/makita/da4000lr_1.html

I inherited a Makita 6071D cordless drill w new

Here is a part breakdown. Chances are the switch assembly #14 or if you get to the brushes, they sometimes go bad. If you don't want to try to fix it yourself, these people know where to send it. It really is pretty easy to fix. https://www.ereplacementparts.com/makita-6071d-cordless-drill-parts-c-97_106_107_268.html

My battery charger for a Makita 18V drill gives me a flashing green light when I put a battery on to charge. What an I do to fix this?

I think that that is just to show that the battery is charging or it may show that the battery is full. You should only charge batteries when completely flat if it is a nicad battery. This is because the battery thinks that any power left is the new empty power level.

How do you put a router bit in a Makita router model 3612BR

Inserting the bit should be the same on all versions of the Makita 3612 router. It does depend on the bit size. Press the shaft lock to keep the shaft from turning. I think the lock is close to the handle on one side of the router when you hold the router with the bit/collet up. For small shaft bits, insert the appropriate collet sleeve into the collet cone. Then insert the bit completely into the sleeve. For larger shaft bits, insert the bit completely into the cone. Use the wrench to tighten the collet nut securely. Unlock the shaft lock. Do not over-tighten or leave the bit loose in the collet cone/sleeve. Over-tightening can break the collet cone. Leaving it loose can result in the bit flying out of the collet cone. Either way, injuries can occur. To remove a bit, loosen the collet nut and then remove the bit (or bit and collet sleeve). The manual is available on the product page: https://www.makitatools.com/products/details/3612 . The direct link to the manual is https://cdn.makitatools.com/apps/cms/doc/prod/361/df12a409-2bd0-48c3-aa38-d635a480a76e_3612_IM.pdf . See page 8. I hope this helps. Cindy Wells

Ho can i get sound working on makita radio

OK, I do not know which model of radio you have but if it is similar to DMR105, try doing a "factory reset". It is also possible that one of the following has happened: The station you were listening to had a break in transmission. - Try another station. You have lost the radio signal. - Try another station. Your battery has run flat. Change battery/power source.

My makita SDS rotary hammer drill leaves the bit in the hole while drilling. It is like it doesn't hold the bit anymore. What could be the problem and how do I disassemble the Chuck?

if you are using a normal 3 jaw chuck on the drill , that is normal when hammering the vibrations loosen of the chuck a method to stop it is to ensure the chuck is tight and keep pulling the drill out of the hole to remove the grit that jams the bit

Hi, Makita HR3000C hammer action not working. Changed the O ring seals, worked for five minutes, then lost hammer action again. Any ideas what may be causing the problem?

It sounds like the striker (#32) may be installed backwards. If the O-rings are on the wrong end it can't maintain a pressure pocket. Makita HR3000C Rotary Hammer Parts
