Could be similar to a problem I had recently where the daylight sensor was being triggered by the light itself. Try re-pointing either sensor or light to keep the sensor in the dark when the lights are on...

is there a switch that controls the light?
do you have any paper work that came with it?
sometimes, when there is a switch, you have to switch the light on and off in a quick combitantion to have control over the light.

The photocell may be fried. In which case you'll need to replace it.

It may have switches on the bottom of the box that controls the settings as well.

Sounds like a problem I had recently where the sensor was detecting it's own light and shutting off thinking it was daylight. I repointed the lights a bit and it resumed working normally.

Look for a slide switch on the light.

Motion sensor will not be powered from 120vac directly. They usually run on 6-12vdc.

Sounds like the relay in motion sensor. Change the bulb. Rechargeable batteries are no good after 3-4 years also.

how old is unit. did it enter manual override? Turn off power for 2 minutes and turn back on. any better.
