If you turn the power off between uses you will LIKELY have to resync the tracks. I doubt the unit remembers anything about sync to canned drum patterns once you turn the power off.
Try leaving it on and see if it acts the same.

I would check the connector itself as the first thing to do. The connector jacks take a beating and sometimes do not contact well and just the capacitance of the nearby contacts is enough to make it appear to be working. IF you sense that high pitch goes through better, then this scenario is a possibility.
In any case, it sounds like it needs to go for repair.

You may have damaged the data on the memory card. If you have no display at all carefully read page 125 of your manual.If it doesn't display with the adapter plugged in try new batteries. I am sure it can be repaired. Whenever ANY electronics get wet, IMMEDIATELY remove ANY pwer sources, including internal batteries.
If wetting was not pure water, flush unit with de-ionized water till absolutely clean of any residue. shake out all water and allow to dry a week before applying power.

from reading instructions when you record channel 1 and 2 you are recordind channel 1 in stereo so you only recorded channel 1 try rcording on chanel 3 for vocal hope this helps

Im Guessing Your Trying To Burn It Off Before Mastering It Which Means All The Tracks Between 1 And 10. First You Click Audio Cd Write/Play Then Select Disc At Once And Then It Should Guide You From There. I Hope This Helps
