simply go to device manager and look for the touch pad or mice and any pointing device . click the touch pad look for driver at the top and roll back driver. and if its not working look for the update driver and click that

That is right. Not only you need a password, to open the PC and be able to run the programm's, the password is also a key for encription of the data. No password, no data. When you do a reset, and install Windows again, you will lose all data on the computer. So is you really can't remember the password and you did not make a mistake with the caps, you should be lost. I know there are some less legal program's around, but I can't tell you what programs and I even don't know a name. I think you better use Google, to find out which program's are available and how to get them. Perhaps via news groups. But be aware program's to hack a password, come from a certain community. When you have a program, didconnect the computer from the net, try to recover the password and backup the data unscrambled. Then run a good virus scanner and delete the program. Just saying.

Try using the forgot password option at the log in. You could have your caps lock on. If there is a number in your password and you are attempting to use your number pad make sure number lock is turned on, this happened to me tonight. You could have also been hacked and someone stole your Netflix account and changed it. If you do get in, download malware bytes and run it along with Ccleaner.

If you have a wheel on your mouse it might be stuck in active mode. Try another mouse, or disconnect it and see if that is the cause.

If it's not in your keyboard, use character map and copy it from there. Click on the search button at the start menu. Type charmap.exe

The drivers are missing for those controls. May need to reload the drivers via Dell website. I believe the intended So for the 1525 is Vista. Running windows 7 may not provide all the drivers.

Assuming you mean a webpage; to go back one page you can use Backspace, the thumb mouse button( if you have on, usually called mousebutton4) or by simply pressing the back arrow on what ever browser you are using.

If it is the same drive in which you have installed OS then you have to use bootable CD/DVD to format it if the drive is other then the OS then you fist take backup of the data and right click on the drive and format it.use any of the file system.
