Sony HESV1000 200 Disc Blue-Ray Server Questions & Answers
I have a blu-ray disc player. Model Bd-C5500. It
HDMI and the red, white, & yellow cables are two different sources. Try using the remote to switch playback source from HDMI to the other choice not sure what Samsung calls the red, white and yellow connectors. I can tell you that the red cable is audio right, the white cable audio left and the yellow is the video.
My Sony blu ray will not respond to my Netflix request for streaming. The connection to the internet is correct. Please help.
go to control panel open device manage look for the blue ray device to make sure there is no conflicts and drivers up to date
go to control panel open devices and printer, if you are running the device through the computer it should show up in drivers.
go into control panel and open network and sharing than select change advance share settings, open folder, look at the public sharing folder and the media steaming, select the choose the streaming options and follow the options you want
while in the networking and sharing fold you may want to look at choose HOMEGROUP AND SHARING OPTIONS also.
and all fails
look at all security settings, firewall settings,
you could also try sync the devices in the control panel.
you may have contact netflix and see if they have any issues with using your device with there network, or are there any divers that need to be install from netflix to your blu ray player so they can communicate with the netflix and the bluray it self
you also have to hook the blu ray to the internet, using your remote for the player go to settings select netflix install drivers and see if that works and than i think every thing will be okay

Software Update Instructions
- WARNING!! Do not power off the Home Entertainment Server or disconnect it from the AC power outlet. Doing so may damage the Home Entertainment Server to the point of requiring repair.
- WARNING!! Do not press any buttons, except as instructed, until the update is complete. Doing so may damage the Home Entertainment Server to the point of requiring repair.
- The software update process usually takes about 15 to 30 minutes, depending on system configuration and network connection.
- Power on the television and make sure it is tuned to the inputs to which the HES-V1000 Home Entertainment Server is connected.
- Connect the LAN terminal on the HES-V1000 to your Internet source using an Ethernet cable.
- Power on the HES-V1000 Home Entertainment Server.
- Press "HOME" to go to the Home Menu.
- At the "Home" menu, select "Settings".
- At the "Settings" menu, select "System Settings" and then press "ENTER".
- At the "System Settings" screen, select "Software Update" and then press "ENTER".
- At the "Software Update" screen, select "Network Update" and then press "ENTER".
Note: The network connection display appears.
- Select "Yes" and press "ENTER".
Note: The server starts to check the version information.
- At the version confirmation screen, select "Yes" and then press "ENTER".
- The software License Agreement appears. After reading the content, select "Agree" and press "ENTER".
- The software update is downloaded and automatically starts updating the HES-V1000 software.While the software update is downloading:
- "DOWNLOADING XX%" appears on the front panel display, indicating the progress.
- If the download fails, an error message appears on the screen, and the display returns to the Home Menu.
When the software update is complete:
- "VERSION UP FINISH" appears on the front panel display, indicating that the update was successful.
- If "VERSION UP FAIL" appears on the front panel display, repeat the update procedure above.
- The system will power off automatically.
- Power on the Home Entertainment Server again.

SONY CX330 camera shutting down
Why do they need to be turned on all the time? If your using them as security cameras they are not designed for that job. The 330 could be overheating because of the constant use. Some cameras have a built in 'Overheat' switch which could be switching it off.
These cameras are designed for short periods of use, recording things like parties and holiday trips. How old are these handycams? These do get old and the technology in them can wear out if in constant use.
