Polycom ViewStation ISDN (pcy220011323001) Video Conference Questions & Answers
I need viewstation software! I have a system that
I have looked all over trying to find this for you and you are correct, it is no longer listed anywhere, but Polycom definitely has it in their archives on a server somewhere.
Contact them at 1 925 9246000 and request the software, they should be able to email you a link to it.
All old links are dead / gone but it must still exist, they wouldn't just leave their customers hanging like that.

I have an older Polycom
You cannot go straight from 7.2 to 7.5.4 you must at least do one in the "Middle" first, you can go to 7.4.0 ? and then to 7.5.*, as there was an update later on that depended on another update prior, I think that those upgrade paths should straddle the upgrade paths.
Also remember to install as administrator too.
Usually when they wouldn't connect it was because they, it, were faulty, or the driver was.

I need a circuit diagram for a polycom viewstation
www.ivci.com/.../videoconferencing_polycom_viewstation_user_guide.pd
The microphone is called an "Electret Mic", this has a capacitance microphone, and an internal amplifier all in one package, These require a 5 - 12 Volts DC working voltage, and indeed go faulty, very easy, as you related. You can get these Microphones from Radio Shack or similar, they are very common. They have a positive and a negative, the case is always negative, the center cable is usually Positive, with the outside or Shield, and easy to re-solder. Check, the circuit, and make sure polarity is correct, and/or the cable isn't broken, or otherwise wrong. There are usually only two connections, so you shouldn't have too many problems troubleshooting, You should have 5 VDC on the lead that goes to the Mic, and the Mic, should have a resistance of about 1 - 2 K Ohms.

We have a Veiw station about 15yra old when
If you connect other video sources to the back can you see those? If yes, then good chance that you have to replace the camera. You could also check if the camera cables are still all well connected by taking it apart.

Polycom ViewStation SP will not power on.
First you should check if the power supply is working. You can buy a different one on ebay or if you have a second one you can see if that is the cause. If your power supply says "Spectre" instead of Polycom then it is a good chance that the power supply is at fault. Those weren't so reliable.

Need User Guide
Um; just a thought but if it's software is Win98 and if your system is running XP SP2 or Vista I'd say you really do need a Guru. A simple answer like running in 98 mode under XP/Vista may not work.
As far as the manual goes, "Google" will generally get you what you want. I did and got
www.labx.com as a starting point for your manual. many other lisings for it..

Polycom Fx doesn't power on or show any signs of life
Try disconnecting the ISDN module and then cycling the power. If that doesn't work speak to your support provider about repair costs. Ultimately you may need to replace it because of its age (it might be End of Life and not available for repair)

Connecting a polycom
No, i don't think si. The polycom needs an ethernet connection to a router. You might get this working by putting the 3g card into a PC and enabling connection sharing, however even if you got it work itsd a bad solution in terms of:
- Cost
- Reliability
- Security.
ADSL would be better.

Polycom ViewStation H.323 Red Blinking Light
Are you able to move the camera using the remote?
If not, then you may have a hardware issue.
If yes, then try to connect to the Viewstation (web interface) using its IP from a Computer.
Let me know what happens
