Hi, im sorry but i can only bring you bad news im afraid if you have any warranty then it will be covered but if your warranty has ran out then the only way it would be cheap enough to fix is if you could get hold of one with say smashed screen.
the problem is with new tellys they are not servicable like the old ones, you cant just by single chips and solder them onto the board they made these so you have to buy the whole board to get it working, and as it sounds like you have had a power surge then the chances are the video board is scrap and also the amp is bad the power board may be the only part working,
you could try a local repair shop on the off chance they may have the same telly in the shop that they are using for parts but basically thats the only real chance you have got unless its still got warranty left.
next time you get a telly or manage to get this one repaired make sure you buy a surge protector and then plug the telly into this as the next time you have a storm and lightning hits the power sub station the surge will be stopped by the surge protector and this then shuts everything down at the plug before the surge can reach the telly, they are not expensive to buy and you should also have one for any games console and pc or laptop as these will be damaged by small power surge.
let me know if you need further assistance ok
My tv won't turn on.
Check the power supply. If the TV is under warranty, take it for repair! If it's not, you may have to replace some capacitors in the power supply.
The power light comes on but the tv will not turn
Possible fault in the main board as it has errors. Check the main voltages from the SMPS to the mainboard,if any are absent check for the fusible link.
If the power seems Ok then trace to the microprocessor and control to see if this section works and triggers the drives.
If so the drives / processing section can be faulty.

Plasma TV normally do not have the resolution required for PS3 unless the plasma TV is fullHD( 1920x1080p) pixels.
HD Ready Plasma = 1024 x 768p
PS3 Outputs = (fullHD)1920x1080 or (HDReady) 1280 x 720p.
LCD TV accepts the resolution matches the resolution the PS3 is outputting.

Since you've replaced the C2 buffer board and didn't fix it. It's very unlikely but possible that the D board is defective. Visually inspect the solder joints on the D connector or try to press slightly on it; if pressing the connector works then there is a loose or cold solder joint on the D connector.
The screen should be replace since still under warranty. The price for a new screen might exceed the price of the plasma, even if you pay for labour still something to decide whether to fix or not.
Try contacting panasonic and ask them nicely if they would be willing to cover the labour cost as well.
Good Luck.

Hello. Panasonic 10 blinks issue have special troubleshooting flowchart to diagnose problem and could take some time for professional like me to correctly figure out faulty board/s. You can start with power supply board replacement just because out of my experience it is bad about 80% of the time. And most of the time another board is affected as well.
I would not recommend homeowner to try this repair without appropriate skills, I know several cases when professionals wasn't able to diagnose problem properly and ended up losing too much money and effort.
In case if you have two boards in bad shape - you already looking to spend not less than $400+ in parts.
Maybe better way is just to invest in new one. And stay away from plasma technology. It is a science project that never got finished.
I would recommend LCD or LED Panel TV.
Regards.
