there are controls in remote by which we can decrease the brightness. u did not mentioned if they are working. try to decrease brightness by pressing the menu of remote & going to picture controls & find brightness control there.

if above function not controlling the brightness of tv, there may be fault in lcd panel of your tv. which may be diagnose only after seeing exact condition of picture.

You just need to keep adjusting the antenna and move it around. Each time you adjust it, you will have to re scan.

I believe you may have defective capacitors on your power supply module. Many times you will find the capacitor has either popped it's top or top has swollen from the capacitor heating due to value changing.

It sounds that somebody have entered into its service menu options, and changed the data values to audio settings there. You must get into its service menu again and must adjust these data values to its original factory settings. you needn't open the set, but the work is somewhat skilled one.
