If its just your video than I think its your back light inverter. However it could be the main board in your TV. I would call a repair man to come out and take a look.

sounds like a bad inverter board or bad backlight

replace your mainboard or power supply board i would try the mainboard first

If its perefrectly half it could be the LCD panel or the TCon board which is causing the issue

The clicking is most likely a mechanical relay in the set's power supply and points to a issue there.

Make a hard reset to this set and check. If it do not help you, replace this set, as it has fault with its main tuner board. Why do you spend for it, when the set is in warranty period?.

If the set is LG as indicated the sky remote may not even work with it--LG uses many different codes and they seem to change each year.

how about other component input also not working .

what do you mean no control? does the sound volume can not adjust or no audio coming out. did you check at the audio settings in the set up menu.

If the problem is same with different input devices and you have ensured there are no loose contacts in power outlet, RC jack, cable and sockets, the TV needs servicing.
